We cut out voluminous snowflakes from paper with our own hands. How to make a Christmas snowflake with your own hands

Greetings, dear readers. Paper snowflakes are one of the easiest and most affordable options to decorate your home or Christmas tree. Let's try together to make a snowflake out of paper in different ways.

There are many ways. You can use the most in simple ways, but you can make a complex volumetric figure. We will consider the most interesting options and not very difficult ones. Such snowflakes can be used to decorate the house or take the craft to kindergartens or school.

What is the most important thing in making paper snowflakes? Thinking of paper or scissors? No. The most important thing is the mood. Without this, nothing will work out as it should.

Another important point is to make snowflakes with your children. They really like this, and let the child do something himself, and you will just help. Make a sample yourself, show the child how it should be. You just need to be careful with the scissors. We are following this.

So my son and I decided to make some snowflakes. It's nice when a child says: “I myself! I myself, dad. " OK. Let's start with the most simple products and further we will complicate the process. We will need: paper, scissors and a pencil.

Write in the comments what kind of snowflakes you make and whether you succeed in making such snowflakes as described below.

Most importantly, to make a paper snowflake, you need to fold it correctly. It turns out there are several ways to fold it. Although before I knew only one way and always cut it this way at school.

There are at least three ways to fold the paper, which will result in a different number of edges. Let's start with the simplest. All these snowfields can be made of any paper, colored or glossy, or whatever, there is no difference, here as you like. The main thing is to make a square at the beginning and then according to the scheme.

We did all this with the child, but I think everything will be clear and visible enough.

Quadrangular snowflakes.

The easiest option, we did these in kindergarten and in elementary school. It is very convenient and simple for little kids.

Here simple circuit:

This is how we do:

Snowflake with four faces
  1. First, bend the square diagonally to make a square.
  2. Then fold it in half and again in half.
  3. Now draw the pattern with a pencil and cut it out. You can draw at once, as it suits you.
  4. Gently unfold and here's a snowflake.

By the way, the templates that we describe below, all of them are perfect for any folding method, so choose any one or draw yourself as you like. And use different folding methods to make a paper snowflake in different ways, so it’s more interesting to turn out.

  1. We also fold the square diagonally.
  2. Then fold it in half and unfold it. This is to mark the center. Now we lower the upper corner down to the edge, it turns out we fold it in half and unfold it.
  3. Now we take the same corner and fold it to the middle (the fold that was noted above). Expanding.
  4. Now we fold the left and right corners so that it touches the upper short line. See drawing.
  5. Now, as in the figure, bend the right and left sides.
  6. Cut off the bottom.
  7. We draw a picture, cut off the excess and carefully unfold it.

Hexagonal.

Option 1:

  1. Now fold it in half and straighten it. A clear center will appear on the largest side.
  2. Then you need to bend the left and right corners as in the photo, in the center we marked, an acute angle should turn out, and the triangles should turn out to be clearly the same.
    If you have a protractor, then you can draw lines from the center at 60º and 120º, respectively, on these lines you need to put the edges of the corners.
  3. Now we fold everything in half and cut off the excess.
  4. Draw and carefully cut out.

Option 2:

  1. Fold the square diagonally.
  2. Fold it in half again.
  3. Now left and right side we add as in the picture, the angles are also 60º and 120º. You should also get two identical triangles. Cut off the excess.

This type of snowflake is the most common. It is quite simple and looks beautiful as a snowflake.

Octagonal snowflake.

Thus, you can fold a snowflake, but it is difficult to cut, although it looks even more interesting.

  1. Fold the square diagonally.
  2. Then in half.
  3. Half more.
  4. And in half.
  5. Cut out the drawing and unfold it carefully.

And from them you can make volumetric asterisk... To do this, you just need to cut out several of the same patterns, glue them together and you get a wonderful volumetric snowflake. Here's an example:

And here are some templates for pictures.

How to make a kirigami-style paper snowflake.

There is nothing complicated in this format, we do it like a regular hex star according to option 1. Everything lies in the pattern. We make slits and when we unfold the snowflake, we bend some edges and we get a voluminous snowflake. It turns out very nicely.

Here are some examples of pictures:

How to cut beautiful snowflakes do it yourself

When you already have an understanding of how to do this, you can come up with your own patterns. Feel free to experiment.

Snowflake made of paper stripes.

One very simple way to make a snowflake out of paper is with paper strips... Simple enough so that you can do it with your child. Only an adult needs to cut the strips first.

We need:

  • The strips are the same - 12 pcs (0.5 cm by 10 cm or 1 cm by 20 cm);
  • Scissors;
  • You can glue the stapler to make it faster.

Cut 12 identical strips with scissors. you can take a width of 0.5 cm, and a height of 10 cm. If you want a bigger snowflake, then double the size.

Now we put 6 strips cross on a cross according to the scheme and glue them.

We glue the extreme stripes together, see the picture.

We make the second exactly the same asterisk.

We glue two of them together and get a snowflake.

Here is such a snowflake made of paper stripes

Thus, we have got a simple but beautiful volumetric snowflake. Can be made in different colors and from different materials.

Here's how you can do it:

Volumetric 3D snowflake made of paper.

Now let's try to do it a little harder. Although any child can cope with such a task.

We need:

  • Paper (thick);
  • Scissors;
  • Stationery knife;
  • Ruler;
  • Scotch tape or glue;
  • Stapler.

Step 1.

First, let's make 6 identical squares. You can also use it differently. colored paper... But you need it to be dense so that the snowflake keeps its shape.

Step 2.

Now bend all the squares diagonally. We make 3 cuts on each side towards each other. But leave a gap of about 1 cm between the cuts.

Step 3.

Now we are expanding. We glue the middle. Then we turn it over and glue the nearest strips on the other side.

Turn over and glue the near strips again. Turn over and glue the stripes again. The result is a beautiful volumetric figure.

Step 4.

Now we do the same from the remaining five squares.

Step 5.

We fasten three figures together at the very bottom (at the tip).

Step 6.

We fasten two figures together. Now the snowflake is ready. If you get a large snowflake, then you can still fasten 6 separate figures with a stapler on the sides. This will make it more stable.

Quilling snowflakes.

This is already a more complex technique that requires more persistence, but it opens huge world for fantasy. Quilling is the art of doing different figures from strips of paper, twisted into a spiral and glued with glue. Something like this can be described.

What you need for this:

  1. Paper stripes. Various thicknesses: from 3 mm to 10 mm. The volume of the figure depends on the thickness.
  2. A wand with an eyelet is the main tool in this matter. They are wrapped in strips. If this is not the case, then you can use ordinary awl or pencil.
  3. PVA glue.
  4. Toothpick for applying glue. Or something like that.
  5. Stencils for different circles. There is a ruler with stencils of different diameters of circles.

There are different kinds of details, how to make details like a drop, an oval or a heart.

And here's how it might work:

Another quilling snowflake

The video describes in more detail how to make a snowflake.

Or here's another way to make a quilling paper snowflake.

But this method is easier for beginners, one might say.

Origami paper snowflake.

This is the most difficult version of the technique for making a snowflake, and indeed any paper figures. Now it will take not only patience, but also a lot of time and experience.

Of course, it may not work the first time, but on the second try and then everything will work out for sure. The main thing is to learn how to make modules. And already from these modules it will be easier to do everything.

To make it easier, use thin paper. The thinner it is, the easier it is to do.

To begin with, you can try to make a snowflake according to this scheme:

Origami style develops motor skills very well. After all, the module needs to do a lot))).

Try to make such a miracle according to the scheme:

Each modules fit well together. Therefore, after the first figure according to the scheme, you can come up with your own version of collecting snowflakes.

I wish you success in your creative process.

How else can you make a paper snowflake?

You can make a snowflake out of paper in other ways, you just need to turn on your imagination and do it. For example, here's how easy it is to make such a snowflake out of stripes:

Or you can cut a snowflake out of colored thick paper and glue pieces of paper twisted on a thin brush or toothpick onto it. According to this principle:

And it turns out this is a miracle:

Or you can simply roll cones out of colored paper and glue them in a circle, alternating and decorating, you get a beautiful New Year's snowflake.

That's all for me, leave your comments, see you in new articles.

To make a beautiful snowflake out of paper, you should stock up on ready-made templates in advance to create a pattern. Of course, you can cut paper without using special schemes, but this method is only suitable for those who already have a certain experience and artistic taste. The process of making openwork snowflakes is quite simple; for this, a sheet of paper must be folded in half so that a triangle is formed. We fold the resulting triangle two more times, after which we cut out the pattern using a prepared template. This one can be used to create traditional hexagonal snowflakes.

To make a snowflake with eight corners, first fold a sheet of paper twice in half with a triangle, and then one more time obliquely. Octagonal snowflakes look more elegant, but they are harder to cut due to the more layers of paper.

New video on how to make beautiful volumetric openwork snowflakes:

Snowdrop made of strips of paper

Plain white paper can be a great material for making Christmas snowflakes. For example, many thin stripes can be cut out of it, which will become the basis for the snowflake shown in this master class.

For such a snowflake, let's prepare:

  • white paper;
  • a ruler with a simple pencil;
  • scissors;
  • decorative rhinestone.

We will make a snowflake from thin strips of paper of various lengths. Therefore, first we cut them, the thickness of all strips is the same and is 0.5 cm. And the length will differ. We need 6 strips 20 cm long, 12-16 cm, 12-12 cm long and 10 strips 10 cm long.

For one ray, we need the following blanks - 1 strip 20 cm long and 2 pieces 16, 12 and 10 cm long.

We take the longest strip and glue its ends.

Then from the edge we fix a strip 16 cm long, forming a kind of loop out of it.

On the right, we fix a strip of the same length.

The next will be strips having a length of 12 cm, we glue them on the sides symmetrically.
Finally, we fix the remaining stripes 10 cm long. This is how we made the first ray.

We need to glue another 5 rays from narrow strips.

For the center of the snowflake, cut out a small circle from the cardboard. We glue the first rays on it, placing them opposite each other.

Then we glue a couple of rays on top at the same distance from each other.

We fix the remaining blanks. Such a snowflake from thin stripes turned out. We decided to decorate the center of it with a decorative rhinestone.

Snowflakes from openwork napkins

Paper lace napkins can be an excellent material for creating New Year's crafts. After all, you can make a variety of snowflakes from them. 2 MK on openwork snowflakes from Marina.

We show one of the options for creating such a New Year's decor in this new master class in 2019.

First, fold the white lace napkin in half. Then, along the marked fold line, cut with scissors. Next, each half must be cut in half. As a result, we got an openwork napkin, cut into 4 equal parts.

Now from these quarters we will make rays for the future snowflake. To do this, first fold the workpiece in half, marking the fold line.

Focusing on this line, we fold over half of the openwork part.

Then we bend the second openwork half symmetrically.

Bending both sides, we get a blank for the first ray of the snowflake.

This is how it looks from the front side.

We continue to make other rays according to the same principle.

And so we continue to work.

In order to get a snowflake, we needed 10 rays. If desired, the center can be decorated with a shiny rhinestone. We got such a New Year's snowflake from openwork napkins.

Now we propose to make a convex round snowflake from openwork napkins according to the 2018 master class. Very light and beautiful, suitable for children, see detailed instructions.

To create such a snowflake, we have prepared:

    • openwork napkins (6 pcs are enough);
    • scissors;
    • glue;
    • decorative rhinestone for the middle.

We will make the snowflake itself from a kind of small bags. To create them, we first need to bend the openwork napkin in half. After that, we cut it with scissors along the fold line.

Then bend each half in half again and cut. As a result, we get 4 blanks from one napkin.

Now we will use glue and connect the edges of this blank so that we get a little bag.

In total, our snowflake will need 12 such bags.

We take another napkin, it will serve as the basis for our snowflake. First we glue 2 small bags on it opposite each other.

Then we fix 2 more blanks in the other direction.

After that, evenly distribute the remaining bags and glue them on an openwork napkin.

For the middle of the snowflake, we will use other blanks. To create them, it is enough to cut a napkin in half.

After that, we immediately make bags from the halves of openwork napkins.

We make 4 such blanks in total.

We begin to glue them in the middle of the snowflake.

We fix all 4 pouches evenly.

And we decorate the middle with a decorative rhinestone. Our lace napkin snowflake is ready.

Lush voluminous snowflake

Having 3 squares of paper, we can make christmas snowflake shown in this master class by Marina.

To create it, take:

  • 3 squares of blue paper;
  • PVA glue;
  • decorative rhinestone.

Our craft consists of three elements, each of which will require one square blank. Let's start working on creating the first element. To do this, mark the transverse folds on the first blue square.

After that, add to the midline side edges square.

Now we will bend the other sides.

We unfold one side as follows, give it the appearance of a trapezoid.

We do the same on the other side.

Now the corners of the resulting workpiece must be carefully straightened so that they acquire a square shape.

We do this with all four corners.

In place of these squares, we make folds on both sides.

Next, we will straighten these folds, and give the workpiece itself the appearance of an elongated rhombus.

We must make such rhombuses from all four corners.

The resulting rhombuses need to be narrowed a little more, for this we perform folds on the sides.

This look was acquired by the workpiece after making the folds.

It remains to fold it as follows. To do this, turn the workpiece over to the other side and make folds along the transverse folds.

This is how this blank looks from the other side.

We make similar blanks from the remaining two squares, and then glue them together.

And in the center of the craft we place a decorative rhinestone. Such a voluminous snowflake turned out.

Snowflakes curls

Simple strips of paper are folded basic elements that can be glued in any order. The number of options for such snowflakes tends to infinity, as in nature 🙂

Simple false quilling snowflake

Our master class on creating an openwork snowflake using the false quilling technique will help you make a decoration from strips of paper with minimal time and materials.

For the creative process, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • sheet of white (or double-sided blue, silver) A4 paper;
  • simple pencil;
  • ruler;
  • eraser;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

How to make an openwork snowflake using an unusual false quilling technique

The snowflake will consist of three types of elements, for the creation of which you need strips 1 cm wide. Each type of element should consist of six parts, so we need to draw a sheet of 18 stripes. The first 6 stripes should be the length of the entire sheet. Draw the next 6 stripes perpendicular to the first. Draw the third type of stripes under the long ones, starting from the perpendicular stripes.

Cut out strips of paper and fold them in three rows, depending on their length. In places where pencil lines are very visible, use an eraser.

To make it easier to work with the strips, wind them around the pencil and remove. Unlike the "" technique, our task is somewhat simplified, since we will not work with dense curls, but with their similarity.

Take a strip from the "short" row. To wrap a strip in a ring, wind it around your finger, close the edges and glue. Make the next turn a little looser and glue at the base again. Make a third turn in this way. Cut off excess paper with scissors.

Do this for the other five short stripes, making sure they are the same size.

Make exactly the same curls with stripes from the middle row.

Bend the longest of the strips in half.

Wrap each end tightly around the pencil and carefully remove the ring - you get such double curls.

Press the smallest curl rings on both sides with your fingers, giving them an almond shape.

Press the middle curl rings from the ends to the center to form a four-pointed star (rhombus).

We start collecting the snowflake. Connect the six almond-shaped pieces together with glue. You will end up with a semblance of a flower.

Glue double curls between the "petals".

For convenience, glue the double curls across one petal.

Then glue in the remaining double curls.

Glue the "stars" at the junction of the double curls.

That's all, the volumetric openwork snowflake is ready!

Look how twisted, like lace!
Thanks to the volumetric elements, it is easier to fold such a snowflake than when creating a quilling figure. With such creative work small children will also cope if you show them everything and help, if necessary. Older children will figure out the intricacies of work on their own. You can also come up with other elements and make some snowflakes to decorate a festive fir tree or interior. The main thing is desire, and you will succeed!

Snowflake made of paper squares

What to prepare for creating snowflakes from paper squares:

  • squares 8 * 8 cm, cut from decorative double-sided colored paper (scrap paper);
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • glue;
  • rhinestones, sequins, sequins.

How to fold unusual snowflakes from ordinary paper squares

To work, you need two squares of the same size. If you want to make small snowflakes, use small squares and vice versa.

Cut out squares of decorative paper to the desired size. It is best to use paper that has a pattern on one side and a base color on the other, then the snowflake will look original.

Fold the squares in half twice.

Spread out the squares, the main lines will appear on them.

Bend the edges to the midline, pressing the folds with your finger.

Do the same on the other side. When you straighten the squares, you will see that the markings of small squares have appeared on them.

Use scissors to cut along the center folds to the length of one square.

Bend the corners at each end as shown.

Glue the corners so that the patterned side is on top.

Stick one part of the snowflake on top of the other so that the rays do not overlap each other.

Decorate the resulting snowflake with self-adhesive rhinestones, or glue the sparkles.

A beautiful curly snowflake from squares is ready!

So, with quite a bit of effort, we got an unusual snowflake. Such beauty was created from two squares, which is hard to believe! You are convinced that children can cope with such work, which means that you can make many wonderful snowflakes and decorate rooms with them, gifts for loved ones and relatives, a festive fir tree or a Christmas wreath. And if you connect several snowflakes, then you can make a garland, pendants or a crown decoration for the holiday.

Volumetric snowflake from foamiran

How to make a brilliant volumetric snowflake will be shown in her new master class by our regular author Marina.

Snowflakes can be made from various materials... In this master class, we propose to make such a craft for the New Year 2019 from shiny foamiran. But you can also choose colored paper, there is only one folding technology.

To make such a snowflake, we have prepared:

  • shiny (glitter) foamiran of blue and silver color;
  • scissors;
  • a toothpick;
  • sharp knife;
  • ruler;
  • glue gun.

Step-by-step instruction

We decided that our snowflake will be two-colored, so we use two colors of foamiran - blue and silver. If desired, such a craft can be done in one color. The snowflake will consist of separate elements - rectangles. First, from the blue foamiran, we cut out 3 rectangles measuring 2.5x14 cm.

Now, on each rectangle, you need to make certain cuts. But first, let's use a ruler and a toothpick. From the seamy side, set aside 1 cm at the edges, draw small vertical lines with a toothpick. After that, the central part needs to be divided into 5 equal strips, the width of each of them will be 5 mm.

Next, you need a sharp clerical knife. With its help, along the ruler, we carefully make cuts along the outlined lines, not reaching 1 cm from each edge. This is best done with something solid (such as a cutting board) underneath.

This is how our blue rectangle with cuts looks like, see photo:

We prepare other blanks in the same way. In total, 3 blue and 3 silver blanks will be used for our snowflake.

Now you can start creating the tracery rays of our snowflake. To do this, take one rectangle, carefully fold it in half, aligning the edges.

Using the same principle, using a glue gun, create the rest of the shiny rays. There will be 6 of them in total.

For the base of the snowflake, cut out a small circle from silvery foamiran. Glue the first blue ray on its seamy side.

Place the second (silver) ray opposite the first.

Now, between them, using hot glue, we fix the blue and silver rays.

On the other hand, we also glue a couple of rays.

It remains to arrange the middle of our snowflake. To do this, cut out a small circle from the silvery foamiran and glue it.

Our voluminous snowflake from glittering foamiran is ready.

Snowflake made of cardboard sleeves

New Year's decor can be created even from scrap materials. An example would be a simple and interesting snowflake made from cardboard sleeves, and the detailed process of its creation is shown in Marina's master class. Such crafts can be done with children at home or in middle and senior kindergarten groups.

To make such a snowflake, we have prepared:

  • toilet paper or paper towel rolls
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • brush;
  • PVA glue;
  • sequins;
  • glue gun;
  • scissors.

The first step is to make blanks for the future snowflake. Flatten the cardboard blank, and then make markings at a distance of 1 cm.

Then we need a glue gun, we warm it up. He will help us connect 6 cardboard elements in a circle. This will be the base of our snowflake.

To create other elements of the snowflake, we need to fold the cardboard strip in half.

In this way, add the 12 remaining elements.

You should get 6 such blanks for a snowflake.

We begin to glue these blanks inside. We do this with a glue gun.

This is how our snowflake looks at this stage.

It remains to decorate it and apply glitter. To do this, first you need to coat the top of the craft with PVA glue, it is more convenient to do this with a brush.

Then sprinkle sparkles on a sheet of paper.

We put the snowflake on this sheet with the smeared side down. If necessary, sprinkle glitter on individual places. We got such a snowflake from a cardboard sleeve.

Good afternoon, today I am uploading the largest article on the most different ways make a snowflake with your own hands. You will see snowflakes performed today v different techniques from cut from paper to molded from liquid caramel. You will see beautiful snowflakes-crafts - braided beads, sculpted from dough. Will many interesting MASTER-CLASSES on snowflakes(glue, beaded, paper). You will definitely find an idea for your homemade snow craft here. Making snowflakes with your own hands is easy and pleasant at home - feasible snowflake ideas for crafts with children and smart ideas for adult creativity.
So let's see what we are going to do today.

  • Culinary snowflakes (from dough, from caramel, from corn balls)
  • Recycled snowflakes ( from toilet paper, made of thread and glue)
  • Snowflakes in twisted Quilling technique(with elegant decor
  • Plastic snowflakes ( bottoms of bottles and children's thermo-mosaic)
  • Snowflakes from natural material (made of ice, wood)
  • Snowflakes from felt, crochet and wicker from beads.

That is, there will be many interesting things. So ... let's get started.

PAPER SNOWFLAKES for interior decor.
how to do it yourself.

Let's start with paper ideas to create craft snowflakes. And this is not only cutting out of thin paper ... now I will show you 3D snowflakes, using origami technique, twisting-quilling technique and cardboard roll snowflakes.

FLAT PAPER SNOWFLAKES.

(openwork beauties and crafts from them).

Snowflakes can be regular FLAT ... when paper is made convolution triangle... a pattern is cut out on it ... they unfold a triangular fold and get an openwork snowflake and paper in which it is reflected circular symmetry of the pattern.

A lot of ideas and patterns of carving of openwork snowflakes made of paper I will describe it in a separate article (so as not to clutter this page). And then a link to it will appear here.
Because paper snowflakes can be made NOT ONLY using the openwork CUTTING technique. And you will see for yourself in this now.

As you can see in the photo above, paper snowflakes can not only be glued to windows (as in childhood) they can be used to decorate gift packages, postcards, trees near the porch, ribbons hanging from the curtain rod.

And you can make paper snowflakes christmas wreaths on the wall... A wreath of just white snowflakes looks very gentle and beautiful ... and it is very good if paired with white pick up another color (red or blue).

It is precisely such delicate snowflakes that I teach to cut in a special article.

You can make others from paper snowflakes. silhouette display on the wall- For example christmas tree silhouette... And also with light hand by an unknown author, I learned the idea of how to create snow-white figures of ballerinas in a paper snowflake skirt. Dancer silhouette we also cut it out of white paper ... and make the central hole on the snowflake bigger - so that it fits.

You can also complement such a Christmas wreath made of paper snowflakes. LED Christmas garland.

The photo below shows what is needed for this wire framebut this is optional. You can simply cut out a ring of their cardboard, wrap this ring with a garland - and then with scotch tape (with double-sided Velcro) glue the carorn ring openwork snowflakes made of thin paper.

And snowflakes are also cut out of thicker cardboard or felt. and hang them on the trees. Naturally, the cardboard does not need to be folded into a triangular fold - we just transfer the outlines of a thin-paper snowflake onto the cardboard, outline it with a pencil and cut it out. And then you can decorate the paper snowflake with a pattern.

SNOWFLAKE WITH GLUE PATTERN- to make the pattern convex-contour, you can simply take a jar of PVC glue with a thin nose and squeeze the pattern onto the plane of the snowflake (as in the left photo below).

SNOWFLAKE WITH A PATTERN OF COTTON STICKS. You just need to take cotton swabs and cut off the cotton tops from them (smooth them a little with the same glue) and attach them in the form of a pattern to a cardboard cut (as in the right photo below).

VOLUME 3D- SNOWFLAKES made of paper.
(layered, fan and origami crafts)

And here are some more layered snowflake ideas. ... The principle of the craft is simple- cut out snowflakes from thin paper different sizes... We translate their contours onto thick cardboard - cut out the silhouettes of cardboard snowflakes.

We take a piece of polystyrene (the one that insulates the cracks on the windows is suitable, the remnants of such material are always in your home) and cut a few small pieces... These plump squares foam we use as spacer between cardboard layers snowflakes.

Or you can go to our paper snow creativity add some ORIGAMI principles... That is to cut paper modules- bend them in such a way that you get FIGURINE BEAMS and lay out the rays in the form of a snowflake on the round base (attaching them to the base with glue).

Or collect cardboard 3D-snowflake of two stars carved on thick cardboard... Every star has vertical incision - between the legs... And cardboard stars put on each other this incision (see the photo of the snowflake above) is very easy to do with your own hands.

Schemes and master classes for creating these snowflakes (pictured above) - in the article

And you can also do crafts-snowflakes like a paper fan... They only look complicated, but they are made very simple. I even found a master class. Very simple.

Below I give a diagram of the assembly of such a voluminous paper snowflake. You can see for yourself what are the simple stages of this master class on assembling a fan paper snowflake... A simple craft that is easy to do at home with children.

Moreover, the edges of such a snowflake accordion can be make curly in advance(like in the photo below).

You see, when we were drawing our model of an accordion, we came up with make some of the cloves on a paper accordion higher than the rest- in the form of a three-leafed peak.

This FAN SNOWFLAKE can be made from NOTE PAPER ... and additionally decorate with Christmas tree branches, pieces of shiny tulle rags and pictures cut from a postcard. Here's how in the photo below. It turns out one-piece artwork do it yourself - you can stick it on the gift bag. Or hang it by the loop on christmas tree..

Snowflake made from toilet paper ROLLS

THREE CRAFTS with your own hands.

You can also make a beautiful snowflake from toilet paper rolls. Here's how to do it yourself. Toilet roll squeeze a little and cut it into rings... Every squeezed ring lay symmetrically in a circle in the shape of a snowflake.

This paper snowflake can be painted red and sprinkle with glitter for nails.

And note in the photo below that inside the beams-rolls there are more a few smaller paper rolls.

Toilet paper rings can be cut very thin and link them a beam in a circle(stretch the thread and pull it into a bundle). You will get such an airy miracle as in the photo below. Paint everything with white paint and sprinkle with silver glitter.

And even if you don't have toilet paper rolls, you can make a snowflake. from ordinary white sheets of office paper(cut into strips and twist them into rings of different sizes ... And then from these rings collect rays of snowflakes... and then put all the rays together and glue them together - and you get a paper snowflake as in the photo.

Paper snowflakes - using the QUILLING technique.

(photo of the best options)

You can also make paper snowflakes with your own hands - IN THE QUILLING TECHNIQUE. This requires from thin strips of paper wind up the FIGURATIVE flagella.

It's easy. I just wrap the strip around a toothpick (or a special pin for quilling), and then I remove the twist (I loosen it to the size we need, press it down with my hands, giving it the desired shape ... and fix the tip of the twist with glue).

Make many twist modules of different shapes and assemble them quilling snowflake... You can practice at home with your children to make such a paper snowflake craft. Children will be happy to spin the modules and fold the snowflake pattern.

Such a paper snowflake-craft using the Quilling technique can be made from colored paper... It turns out even more beautiful. Airy lines and crisp color spots. And the opportunity decorate the anchor points of the pattern bright rhinestones. These are such multi-colored snowflakes crafts we get.

A snowflake made of paper of red and white flowers looks beautiful. If you are planning to meet and have conceived to dress the Christmas tree in white-red colors - then such paper snowflakes will help you save on buying New Year's decorations. They can be done in one colors but different in shape and size.

Snowflake made from caramel.

We take caramel lollipops white (milky) and red (for example, barberries). We put them in different saucepans, pour water on the bottom (so that the caramel does not burn) - and put them on the fire. Our task melt caramel until liquid... When the caramel is liquid, we will make snowflakes out of it. Take a sheet of foil for baking(even not crumpled) - put it on the board. And on this metal sheet we draw snowflakes with liquid caramel - pouring a plump trickle(it is more convenient to pour from a hot saucepan with a spout). Cool down and get caramel-glass snowflakes - such crafts can be hung on ribbons by the window and let the rays of the winter sun play in them.

And you can just string pieces of marmalade on the wire and also get an interesting snowflake. Or glue a snowflake from corn balls. Children will love this New Year's craft. It is more interesting and tastier than a paper craft.

DIY snowflakes - from pasta and glue.

And children will also like these New Year's pasta crafts ... When we take pasta of different shapes, we put them in a snowflake pattern on paper - and then carefully one after another glue them together in barrels. This pasta snowflake can be painted with gold paint

Also, pasta can be glued to round pieces of cardboard or linen paper, so that they have a solid base for gluing.

How to make a snowflake-craft FROM TEST.

And here is a master class on how to make a snowflake from dough. We make a dough for cookies and squeeze out a symmetrical circular pattern with ordinary molds.

You can cut a snowflake from salted dough... Squeeze out with a fountain. And if there is no such snowflake mold, then you can do it in an artisanal way - put on the dough cardboard figurine snowflakes and circle it with a knife along the contour.

PLASTIC SNOWFLAKES.

(beautiful crafts with your own hands)

I found several examples of Christmas plastic crafts with the image of snowflakes. Let's take a look at them now - for sure you will choose a method for yourself.

Model 1 - snowflakes from the bottoms of a plastic bottle.

We take plastic bottle from under mineral water- it is just made of bluish plastic - that is, it has a beautiful snowy hue. What we need.

Cut off the bottom with scissors or a file. On it we draw the outlines of a fluffy snowflake with white or blue paint. And we drill a hole - through which we pass the hanger ribbon. A good craft for working with children - you saw the bottles (with a regular knife it works well), and the children draw a snowflake pattern.

DIY snowflakes from transparent plates.

And you can also made of a thick sheet of transparent plastic cut out neat stars and decorate them in the center with a snowflake pattern. Plastic can be taken from old packing boxes with a transparent display side. Another sheet of plastic can serve transparent kitchen table mat... Or a thick binder is fine too. We get a beautiful New Year's craft with our own hands.

Snowflakes made from caps.

Even plastic bottle caps can serve for the common cause of the New Year's decor of the apartment. They can be glued onto a piece of cardboard or plywood, and then cut along the contour. Or, glue the lids together using a glue gun.

Snowflakes-crafts from thermo-mosaic.

And you can also take an ordinary children's thermo-constructor - with such bubbles - you string them on pins, making a pattern, and then bake in the microwave or oven - and you get a whole piece of craft. In our case, we lay out a snowflake pattern and get an author's patterned beauty made of plastic, made with our own skillful hands.

Snowflakes made of GLUE and THREAD

Three simple crafts for kids.

And in this chapter of our article, I have collected THREE IDEAS on how to make a snowflake USING GLUE, where it is the glue itself that will be the main material snowflakes. Let's take a look at these methods - they are all simple and easy to do with your own hands at ordinary home conditions.

MASTER CLASS # 1 - snowflake from the GLUE GUN.

A simple method on a sheet of polyethylene with a glue gun we apply a snowflake pattern. Dry it and cover it with glitter.

MASTER-CLASS №1 - a snowflake made of glue on a thread frame.

Very beautiful translucent and delicate snowflakes. Now you will learn step by step how to make such a craft with your own hands.

STEP 1 Draw a snowflake on a sheet of paper - the snowflake pattern can be any - but with one prerequisite - the drawing must be FRAME - so that there are closed cells (for which, you will now understand).

Cover the sheet with the picture with a thick film (or simply put this sheet inside a polyethylene office file).

STEP 2. And now, according to this pattern, we lay a thick thread (from any suitable yarn for knitting). To make the thread fit easily into the shape, it needs to be moistened - but not in water, but in PVA GLUE. A wet thread will easily take the shape we need. And it will harden and harden in it due to the drying of the glue.

STEP 3. Now (without even waiting for our thread frame to dry) we will fill the cells of the snowflake with glue. Straight pour from the tube inside- we do this puddle, the sides of which are the thread.

And so that the glue fill is not white, but colored - it can be mixed with paint... We take a drop of gouache on a brush and knead it in our glue pool, right in the cell of the snowflake.

We do this - with each cell - leaving empty cells between them. And we put our sheet neatly dry out of the reach of children... Let it lie there for a couple of days - so that everything is thoroughly dry.

When the snowflake dries up, it will already be easy to separate from polyethylene and hang it by a string on a window or on a Christmas tree. But it is better to the window - since the light will beautifully penetrate through the blue glue cells of the rays of the snowflake-crafts.

And here is another one good way make a snowflake out of glue and threads with your own hands.

MASTER CLASS # 3 - a snowflake made of sewing thread and glue.

We need a sheet of polyethylene - glue and white bobbin threads.
On a piece of paper - making a round pool of glue- the size of the puddle must match the size of the silhouette of the future snowflake. That is, first we will cut out our cardboard snowflake shape sample and then we make a puddle of glue that is proportional to this snowflake silhouette.

Next, on this puddle of glue we CHAOTICALLY STACK the thread - we put it and put it, as it fits - in several layers - in different directions. And we dry all this puddle. And then when everything is dry - we take this round thread glue plate... apply a snowflake stencil to it - and cut it along the contour. We get a beautiful graceful handmade snowflake.

DIY snowflakes

FROM NATURAL MATERIAL.

You can make a snowflake from the material that nature gave us. These can be knots from chopped tree branches.

You can make a snowflake from the remnants of lumber brought from the cottage.

You can make snowflakes from straw and thread - as shown in the photo below. If you look closely at the photo, you can see how to do it all.

Better yet, I'll draw and tell you step by step how to make one such snowflake. And it will become clearer.

And you can also do snowflakes-crafts from ICE. Take a few glasses and freeze the ice cubes in them (pour water and put in the frost. Take the ice cubes out of the glasses and draw a snowflake on each one with paints and melt a hole with a hot carnation. It is better to carry out work in a cold room on the street so that the ice does not melt. And then you can hang nicely along the cornice of the window - from the back street side, or on a tree by the gate ... or under a canopy above the porch.

How to make felt snowflakes.

I have . Very large, and there are many ideas on what decorations can be made for the Christmas tree from bright felt.
And of course you can cut snowflakes out of it. Thick felt just cut out the outlines and the snowflake will keep its shape. From thin felt the snowflake must be glued to the base base.

But the PETAL snowflakes - they are made very easily with your own hands. Now you will find out how ...

Round piece of felt cut DIAGONALLY in a circle- like a pizza in pieces - we get something like flower petals. Every petal round the edge(by any pattern - a rib or pipette).
And then at the very root we SEW-STRAIN each petal - that is, we press the blades of the petal to each other and sew with threads. We get a petal snowflake from felt - we decorate it with oval beads or long bugles.

And here is the model of a snowflake, which at first was flat - and then it was carved and folded into a volumetric one. And decorated with large rhinestones and a small decorative textile flower.

You can make beautiful DIY Christmas wreaths out of felt snowflakes.

SNOWFLAKES made of beads.

MASTER-CLASSES of weaving and SCHEMES.

Well, finally, it’s turn to bead snowflakes... Very beautiful things. And most importantly, they are created very quickly - it takes a beginner 30 minutes to create such a snowflake. I checked on myself - last week weaved just such a BLUE SNOWFLAKE - weaved without a diagram according to this photo(from gold and white beads with bronze bugles - it turned out gorgeous) For the first time in my life. And everything got it. Weaved not on the line, but on the wire- large snowflakes should be woven just like that - with wire - so that the rays are kept exactly to the sides.

The alternation of large long beads and small grained beads looks beautiful - in ONE COLOR RANGE. Home-made snowflakes made of beads and beads, made in a dazzling snow white color, are especially beautiful.

Beads look beautiful their transparent crystals. It turns out a crystal ice snowflake - quite real, made by hand.

And here is the MASTER CLASS for weaving snowflakes from beads. In the detailed photo instructions, we see each step of the lesson on how to assemble a snowflake from blue beads. And it immediately becomes clear that making such a snowflake with your own hands is quite simple and easy. Try it and you will succeed. Only six large beads are needed - the rest are ordinary beads.

And here's another master class of weaving curly snowflakes from beads of different colors... Red sterlocks show the movement of beads over the beads - now through passages through the previous row - now new layering of bead rows and stove passages through the first tier of the pattern.

And here are some more diagrams ... IN THE FIRST SNOWFLAKE, the rows are shown different colors- so that the sequence of weaving is clear. And in the SECOND one should already look closely and figure out for ourselves what follows what.

And here are examples of snowflakes in which the BEGINNING OF WEAVING IS THE SAME - that is, you see that the central part of three snowflakes is the same. We start weaving one by one for all patterns, and only then we add different patterned rays, as the soul likes.

Here are examples of snowflakes in the assembly of which more are involved. and long tubes of bugle... The weaving pattern of such a snowflake-star is clear even from a photograph. But if not, write in the comments, I will draw a step-by-step picture and post it here.

Such snowflakes braided from beads can become designer earrings.

Or braided snowflakes can be a decor for christmas ball... Also, as you can see, it is original and beautiful.

These are the ideas for doing it yourself. SEA OF SNOWFLAKES I poured today for you - whole drifts of snow ideas. Choose any one for your home New Year's joy.
