A beautiful New Year's craft lamb, created with your own hands, will be a wonderful gift or addition to a gift for a loved one. How to make a sheep with your own hands? DIY sheep: master classes with step-by-step photos DIY sheep made of paper and thread

In the new year, it is customary to exchange gifts of a certain theme. The coming year is dedicated to the symbol of the sheep. Everyone is trying to buy toys, postcards, souvenirs with this symbolism. But you can create a gift with your own hands. Today we offer you to find out how to make a sheep with your own hands in different variations.

What kind of gifts can you make?

  • Keyrings. Beads will make beautiful key rings. Sheep can be made voluminous or flat. In the latter version, you draw an image on a sheet, count the beads, weave with a fishing line and a needle, connecting the rows together, like Easter eggs.
  • Magnets. Embroidered, beaded or stitched lambs, New Year's themes look great on the refrigerator. You can make unusual toy magnets. To do this, you sew small sheep, and glue magnets on your legs, then the lamb will be able to change the position of the legs.
  • Cloth. Scarves, mittens, you can decorate with lambs in the style of the Norwegian pattern. If you can create colored lambs.
  • Souvenirs (needle beds, biscornu, crooked, zigugu). Find any cross-stitch patterns with a New Year's theme, embroider and give an unusual shape to a souvenir.
  • Origami. A modular sheep can become a decorative decoration for any home.
  • Amiguri. Small amiguri miniature toys are very popular. They knit very quickly, and are used as decorative items, key rings, car pendants.

Variations of New Year symbols

  • Pendants. Hanging toys can be made for babies. Sheep can be made in black and white, but you can diversify them with variegated pom-poms, flowers, birds.
  • Stuffed Toys. Use pekhorka, yarn with pom poms to knit sleep toys. You can sew them out of felt. Tilda's lambs are especially unique (a sheep stencil should be made for them in advance).
  • Postcards. Any material (paper, beads, accessories, paints, fabric, threads) is used to create sheep. Postcards can be made flat, voluminous, with a surprise, decorative.
  • Christmas decorations. Knitted or sewn lambs can hang from the tree and delight the eye with bright colors (for this, use glitter paints).
  • Covers. Bags, cosmetic bags, cases for mobile phones can be sewn, knitted, embroidered with a New Year theme and presented to any person, regardless of gender or age. Covers in the form of a voluminous lamb are especially original, that is, the lamb's head is knitted, stuffed and sewn to the purse. Also, do not forget to sew on the legs of such a sheep.
  • The New Year's symbol can be presented in any form. The main thing is that the gift is useful and practical. You can create a whole composition. For example, beaded trees, and under them a flock of sheep.

Original craft: a sheep made of cotton swabs

Such a lamb can become an element of a volumetric postcard, a Christmas tree decoration or an independent souvenir. To create it, we need:

  • white cardboard;
  • cotton swabs;
  • glue;
  • felt-tip pens;
  • ice cream sticks or halves of clothespins;
  • scissors.

How to make a sheep with your own hands from cotton swabs? Cut out a large oval for the body and a small one for the head from cardboard. Cut the cotton swabs almost under the cotton base, only leave centimeter segments for the ears. One lamb can take more than a hundred cotton swabs. Glue the body in a circle with cotton scraps so that the sticks are not visible. Then the illusion of curls is created.

Then make the head. First, glue the ears, and then a few curly sticks in the form of a bang. Draw the eyes, nose and mouth with a felt-tip pen, glue it to the body. If the lamb is for a postcard or a Christmas tree toy, then cut the wooden sticks from ice cream in half and glue it on the seamy side of the body.

You can decorate the craft with white cardboard or paste over with cotton swabs, creating a voluminous product. Adding the halves of a clothespin can help stabilize the sheep. You can also glue white cardboard with New Year's greetings on the seamy side.

Christmas tree toys: DIY sheep

Small crafts are suitable not only for souvenirs, but also for decorating a Christmas tree. Consider a master class on creating a miniature lamb. You will need the following material:

  • for the body, paws;
  • wine stopper or float;
  • glue "Super Moment";
  • or any other thick rope;
  • wool of white and black colors;
  • ear clips.

Making a sheep's craft is not difficult, but patience is required, since the work is jewelry. Form a sheep's head from the cork. Poke it with a wire, the end of which you bend to fix the position. From other identical wire segments, make paws with a part of the body.

Attach them to the wire leading from the head and solder them (as a last resort, you can wrap them with thin ganuteli style wire). Wrap the neck with the body with twine, increasing the required thickness. Then tightly wrap the head, paws, body with black wool, smearing the surface with glue.

Making curls

We continue to consider how to make a sheep with our own hands. Bend the sheep's legs to give a stable position. Ears are made from paper clips or any wire. Wrap with black thread, connect in a loop and "build up" the volume with wool. Leave small ends of the wire to grease with glue and stick into your head.

Now you are making curls. To do this, wind white wool on a fork or metal plate, as when creating pom-poms. On one side, fasten with a single-color thread so that when cutting the other end, the threads do not crumble. Cut off the second edge with a clerical knife. Grease the resulting bundles with glue and glue the entire body with the head.

If necessary, trim the sheep's wool with scissors. Glue your eyes on your face (you can find ready-made running small eyes on sale, or use wooden beads). You can move away from the classic version and make multi-colored lambs.

Felt sheep

Such toys can be used for key chains, Christmas tree decorations, decorative souvenirs. Cut out the body, tail, legs, head with ears from white felt, and curls and flowers from black material. Instead of felt, you can take any other non-flowing material.

You start work from the head, sew the details and insert the synthetic winterizer. You can use one-piece filler, on which you cut the same sheep stencil and sew all layers. Immediately embroider your mouth, sew on eyes, curls. Then work on the torso. First, sew decorative flowers to it. Next, sew the details of the body, sewing the legs and tail in the right places. Do not forget to fill it with padding polyester. This is a variant of a whole lamb, but how to make a small colored lamb?

Cut out two parts of the body (like a round cloud), head, ears (like droplets), curls (like an oval cloud) from felt. Four oval leg strips, one nose piece (heart). Sew the head, sew on the ears, fill it with padding polyester, then attach the curls on top. You glue your nose, embroider your eyes and mouth. Next, sew the torso by inserting the legs. Attach the head from above and decorate with a bow and the same ribbon.

Sheep-Tilda

Sheep Tilda is adored by children because of their simplicity and softness. As a rule, terry cloth is taken for the fur, and linen material for the limbs and face. At the moment there are many patterns, but you can create it yourself. The easiest option is to make a sheep for the New Year, like a doll. Let's consider in detail how to do this:

  • Sew the details of the paws. Sew on a linen pattern from one edge. Fill with padding polyester.
  • Sew the torso from fur fabric. Sew on the arms and legs. Fill with padding polyester.
  • Sew the head in three parts: two terry and one round linen face. Sew on the eyes and ears, embroider the nose, paint the cheeks with acrylic paints. Fill with padding polyester, attach to the body.
  • Sew a skirt from colorful patches and put it on the lamb.

Beaded lamb

How to make a sheep from beads? Today you can find a lot of patterns for weaving lambs, both voluminous and flat, made of beads and beads. Flat ones turn out to be schematic and are more suitable for key rings or postcards. Goats are weaved from head down, and sheep from the back of the body to the head. Then the parts are simply connected together and a denser product is obtained. In this technique, you can make multi-colored animals.

But voluminous sheep look more natural. The very first option is to braid a ball and a bead for the body and head. The braid resembles strawberry weaving. For curls, make loops. Weave your ears with a loop too.

If you don't know how to weave with beads, then combine the two techniques (this will be the second method). For example, you sew a head with a body from fabric and filler, and sew curls and legs with beads. You will get original souvenirs. You can also combine crochet with beading. For magnets, sheep are embroidered on the canvas, cut off and a magnetic tape is glued on the seamy side.

Postcards and panels

It is very easy to create greeting cards. The easiest way is to stick an applique on the finished blanks for postcards. On the outside, decorate the plot with beads, threads or other materials. Children like to glue a Christmas tree made of pompons on a postcard and decorate them with paper balls and stars.

If you want to make a postcard yourself, then fold the cardboard in half. Use scissors to shape the size and edges of the postcard. On the outside, apply a schematic drawing, glue and a bead base or threads (it is better to take wool, finely chop and glue). For a postcard, the first craft that you glue on a cardboard base is suitable.

If you paint white thick cardboard, and make the foreground or the main details volumetric using paper appliqués, beads, threads and other materials, you will get the basis for the panel. Just insert the plot into a frame without glass and hang it on the wall. For example, this is how you can make a topiary.

Panel options

Cut the foam ball in half and glue it onto cardboard. Draw a trunk, a fence or a vase. Cut the yogurt bottle along, wrap it with multi-colored threads, glue it to the cardboard. Paste the ball with flowers, pompoms, decorative elements.

From foam balls, you can make the head and body of a sheep, which you glue with pom-poms or beads. Or glue the finished origami-style animal onto the cardboard. The volumetric sheep are inserted into the frame without glass.

For preschoolers, another gift option is suitable. Print Cover it where the wool should be with a thick layer of plasticine. Then roll up balls of napkins, crepe paper, or foil. Attach them to the clay. You can paint the head and legs with gouache or also cover with plasticine.

If the balls are not large, then the craft can be placed under glass. Otherwise, buy a special plasticine that hardens quickly and is not exposed to temperature influences. Making such crafts is as easy as making a sheep out of paper, but the result will be more interesting.

We embroider a lamb

Depending on the plot and size, the New Year's symbol can be presented in the form of a picture or a souvenir. Consider several options for gifts.

  • Pin cushion. Embroider two identical squares, sew the edges with a "back needle" seam. Next, along these stitches, connect two embroideries to each other. Sew a loop in the middle, stuff the product with padding polyester, and drag decorative tassels along the edges. It turns out a beautiful souvenir needle cushion. It can be used as a decoration for a car.
  • Magnet. Embroider the lamb pattern, cut off the excess canvas, process the edges. Sticking on the magnetic tape. It turned out to be an original sheep with your own hands.
  • Biscornu. Embroider two squares with New Year's patterns. Also process the edges with a "back needle" seam, just start sewing the details from the middle. That is, you put the edge of one embroidery on the middle of the other half, pull the needle through the stitches. You can string beads for decoration. Fill the biscornia with padding polyester, sew to the end of the edge. Decorate the middle of the product with a button, pull in the loop.
  • Sachet. This embroidery can be made in the form of a candy or a bag filled with aromatic herbs.

Stuffed Toys

We propose to consider how to make a small sheep with your own hands (with the palm of your hand). Such toys can become a decorative element of the house, car or developmental children's rugs. For the master class, you will need the following material:

  • felt;
  • two beads;
  • threads;
  • satin ribbon;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • knitting threads in the form of balls;
  • black and brown floss.

On felt, schematically mark the body of a lamb, drawing an oval head, legs, tail. Sew the parts, cut the fabric so that there is an even seam when turning. Fill with padding polyester, sew up the product.

Now, with threads to match the knitting, take a lump, sew its ends and sew it in a lump to the lamb, starting from the head in a circle. Then sew on the ears from the loops of the satin ribbon. All threads, knots, tails are hidden under the "wool". Next, sew the beads on the face with black thread, and embroider the nose and mouth with brown floss, bring the thread to the middle of the back and make a loop. It turned out to be a beautiful fluffy sheep with your own hands!

Knitted lambs

Knitted toys are more and more in demand among children. Sheep can be dressed up in different dresses, skirts, but if you use special yarn with different knobs, lumps, long piles, you can impose original sheep with natural wool.

We will learn how to create such a craft using the example of small sheep. Such amiguri are used as a decorative decoration, and if you sew a loop, then it can be hung in the car. Let's look at how to make a colorful sheep. To do this, take knitting threads: cotton in three different colors and yarn with fibers or knobs for wool. Begin to knit the lamb from the muzzle.

Crochet a circle, forming it into a hexagon. Then you knit without increments, getting a hat, like an acorn. Then narrow the number of loops to get the shape of a long pumpkin with a wide end. Having finished knitting the muzzle, fasten the threads with bumps and knit the wool on the head. Create ears with a cotton crochet, sew them on. Make the eyes from beads, and embroider the nose and mouth with a "game".

Knit an oval or round torso from threads with knobs. Make the front and hind feet separately by adding multi-colored cotton. Finish knitting with knitted threads. Sew the limbs and head to the torso. Fill all parts of the body with padding polyester. It turned out to be a bright sheep with your own hands.

Your wool craft is ready.

Master class number 7: DIY New Year's lamb made of faux fur

You can easily sew a sheep in the form of a soft toy with your own hands. To give it a characteristic texture, you will need the appropriate material. Most often, artificial fur is used to create such toys.

Materials (edit)

To sew a Christmas toy sheep with your own hands, you will need:

  • a piece of fleece fabric;
  • a piece of faux fur;
  • filler;
  • threads;
  • needle;
  • crayon;
  • scissors;
  • paper;
  • pencil;
  • threads for embroidery.

Step 1... On a large piece of paper, use a pencil to draw the main components of your New Year's Eve sheep. These should be: torso, head, ears, tail and legs.

Step 2... Transfer the drawn blanks to the corresponding pieces of fabric. The legs and tail will need to be made of fleece. For the legs, cut eight identical pieces of fabric, fold them in pairs, turning the fabric right side. Sew the legs, leaving the top intact. Stuff your legs with filler. Sew them up.

Step 3... Make the tail of the lamb in the same way.

Step 4... Cut out blanks for the ears from the fleece fabric. You will need two of them. Cut two more of the same pieces out of faux fur. Place the fabrics right-side up and sew together. Turn the ears to the front, fold at the base and sew with a few stitches.

Step 5... Transfer the pattern of the muzzle to the fabric, cut out the blank in the amount of two pieces and sew them, leaving the place where the muzzle will be sewn to the body of the toy intact. Turn the lamb's face to the right side and sew the ears to it.

Step 6... On the lamb's face, embroider the eyes, nose and mouth of the animal with threads.

Step 7... Transfer the torso patterns to the faux fur and cut them out. Sew the sheep's face, legs and tail to them. Leave a small gap so the lamb can be stuffed. So that the junction of the body is not noticeable, sew the halves of the toy with a blind seam.

The soft toy sheep is ready.

Master class number 8: Do-it-yourself knitted New Year's lamb

You can knit a cute soft toy or a pillow in the shape of a lamb yourself. To replicate the texture typical of an animal's fur, choose a knit or crochet knit pattern.

Materials (edit)

For a knitted New Year's lamb, prepare:

  • white, black or gray yarn;
  • knitting needles or hook of the appropriate size;
  • filler.

Step 1... First, decide on a knitted lamb pattern. To do this, draw her torso on a sheet of paper, measure its height and length and knit a small piece of canvas with a knob pattern.

Step 2... Based on the density of knitting and the size of your pattern, calculate the knitting and be sure to mark the rows for decreasing and increasing loops. If you find it difficult to calculate the pattern of the canvas yourself, use special programs for this.

Step 3... Start knitting the body of the lamb from the light yarn.

Step 4... You can knit the body of a lamb on both sides at once if you knit it with a crochet hook, or in halves if you use knitting needles.

Step 5... After tying the body of the lamb, be sure to leave a small area untied through which you will stuff it.

Step 6... In the places where the legs, tail and head of the lamb will be located, insert the knitting needles and knit the parts with a regular satin stitch made of dark yarn.

The knitted lamb is ready.

A beautiful New Year's craft lamb, created with your own hands, will be a wonderful gift or addition to a gift for a loved one.

A beautiful New Year's craft lamb, created with your own hands, will be a wonderful gift or addition to a gift for a loved one.

Do you do Christmas crafts with your own hands with the symbol of the New Year? Each year according to the Chinese calendar has its own symbol in the form of an animal. So the next 2015 will be the year of the blue sheep (in another version of the goat). The question may arise: what is the connection between manual work and the symbols of the new year. The answer is simple. There is a belief that if you give a souvenir with an image or in the form of an animal - a symbol of the coming year - on New Year's Eve, then for this whole year, this souvenir will become a kind of talisman that brings good luck and success to its owner. So if you make such a souvenir with your own hands, and not just buy it in a store, then it will have even greater positive energy, due to the part of the soul of the master who created it, invested in it. That is why, we advise you to familiarize yourself with our master class for New Year's crafts, a lamb - a symbol of 2015. We propose to perform it in a mixed technique, which will allow you to once again practice in the previously acquired skills and knowledge related to various types of needlework. Since the technique is mixed, various materials with tools for New Year's crafts will be needed:

  • Quick-drying clay in the air. It is also sometimes called hardening modeling paste. It is advisable to purchase one that is white, but if you find a different color, then it is also not scary, since the hardened product can then always be painted with acrylic paints in the desired color.
  • Acrylic paints (gouache can also be used, but after drying it can still smear, unlike acrylic). Actually, the whole gamut of colors is not required, you only need pink (can be replaced with red) and white.
  • Yarn. Since the next year is the year of the blue sheep, it is better to choose the appropriate color for the yarn. In our example, the thread is sectional dyeing and it contains both white (natural for sheep) and blue-blue (for the sake of the symbol). The quality and thickness of the thread does not matter.
  • Felt. Blue and white, a little bit of each, you can use leftovers from past handicraft projects.
  • Eyes for toys.
  • Cardboard. It is required for making a pom-pom. It is not necessary to take a new and good one, you can use some unnecessary cardboard packaging, because after the pompom is ready, the cardboard blank will become unusable.
  • Cord.
  • A decorative ribbon or ribbon if you plan to make a hanging toy.
  • Sewing threads to match the felt.
  • There are two types of glue: “Moment. Crystal "and" hot "silicone glue.
  • Scissors.
  • Needle.
  • Brush.

New Year's craft lamb is not done very quickly, since clay is used in the work. Despite the fact that it is considered quick-drying, but still the speed of hardening depends on the size of the product, the larger the object molded from it, the longer it dries. That is why we recommend starting work on the sheep with the clay modeling stage. So that while work continues on other parts of the craft, the head (it is she who is molded from clay) has time to dry. It is not difficult to blind a sheep's head. First form a ball out of a small piece of clay, and then give it the shape of an elongated sheep's face. Make eye sockets, into which the eyes will be glued further. If you did not find a decorative peephole, then you can also make them out of clay by rolling two small balls for this and attaching them to the eye sockets. Then, when the workpiece is dry, you just paint them, draw the pupil. In addition to the eye sockets on the sheep's face, push through several grooves to indicate the sheep's nose and mouth (see photo).
Do not forget to blind the lamb's dangling ears. Glue them to the head; for this, slightly moisten the parts with water. To get rid of cracks in the clay, also moisten your hands with water and smooth the entire surface of the craft. You get such a head. Now you can put it to dry.
We continue the do-it-yourself New Year crafts master class. While the blank of the lamb's head is solidifying, you can proceed to making its body. To do this, you will need to make a pom-pom that imitates a shaggy sheep skin in the best possible way. We have more than once published articles on our website on how to make a pom-pom with our own hands. But as the saying goes, "Repetition is the mother of learning," so once again we will show the stages of its production. First, cut out two identical circles from cardboard. The size of the pom-pom itself will depend on their size, so be guided by the size of the cobbled head of the lamb so that the pom-pom - the future body of the lamb looks more or less proportional. So that it is not too small or too large in relation to the head.
Inside each circle, cut out the central part, the smaller this hole, the less lush pompom you will get, provided it is fully wound. Conversely, if the hole is large and then completely filled with yarn, then you get a very lush pompom.
Fold both cardboard blanks with each other, leveling them at the same time. Wrap the yarn around so that the inner hole is almost completely hidden.

Part the cardboard a little, insert scissors between these parts and cut the yarn exactly in the center.
Insert a piece of the same thread in the middle and tie it tightly, winding it around several times before.
The cardboard can be removed and the pompom is in front of you. Just until its shape is not correct - fix it with scissors.
Since this craft is not planned to become an exact copy of a real lamb, we propose to make the lamb not only legs, but also "hands", dressing them in winter boots and mittens. Cut these pieces out of blue felt. Their shape and size are arbitrary. Make each pair in double quantity.
Cut the cord into four pieces of a piece: two longer and two shorter. Tie a knot on one side of each section.
On the end of the cord, which is without a knot, sew on both sides of the details of boots (for long sections) and mittens (for short ones), as shown in the photo.
Cut strips out of white felt large enough to glue boots and mittens with them. You will get an imitation of a fur edge.
We continue the master class on creating a New Year's crafts. Now is the time to check if the lamb's head is solid. If so, you can continue by following our step-by-step instructions. If not, then you will have to wait for this moment and then continue. So, if the clay was white, then you can safely leave everything as it is, if the color was not suitable, then paint it with paints. After that, tint a little the nose, lips and the inside of the lamb's ears with pink. We didn't have pink paint in stock, so we had to mix white and red to the desired shade.
Using the Moment glue, glue the eyes of the lamb. This glue works well for this purpose.
But already the head itself must be glued to the body (pompom) with "hot" glue, since "Moment" will not cope here. To do this, warm up a special gun with glue well and apply the softened hot glue to the pompom, slightly moving the protruding threads apart.
If you plan to hang this New Year's lamb somewhere, then cut the ribbon of a suitable length and glue this ribbon first, and then the head of the lamb on top. In the same way, glue the legs and "handles" of the lamb, and the knots will help by increasing the gluing area due to them and over time the lace will not come off.
Our do-it-yourself master class on creating New Year's crafts has come to its logical conclusion. The sheep is ready. You can give it to someone as a souvenir, or you can keep it for yourself and it will become a good talisman for 2015.

Crafts with the symbol of 2015. DIY sheep.

What can you make a lamb with your own hands for the New Year 2015? The first thing that comes to mind is yarn, wool, felt, cotton wool. In short, something warm and soft. It is not so difficult to recreate the silhouette of a lamb - you can depict it in a simplified form on paper and, on this basis, make a pattern or layout.

We have collected interesting ideas for crafts all over the Internet for you. They will help you sew, knit or make unusual and cute sheep and lambs. See how much fantasy is in the works of foreign designers and craftsmen. But in fact, everything is quite simple there. And you can give life to the same beautiful and original toys and souvenirs with your own hands.

Felt sheep

There are two types of felt for crafts - in the form of a dense, non-flowing fabric, which is very convenient to cut with a knife, and in the form of soft fibers intended for felting. Any work with felt is now in great fashion among needlewomen, so the material of both textures can be freely purchased in the respective stores. Just think in advance what kind of sheep you will make of it - small or large, snow-white or multi-colored, voluminous or flat.

Here, by the way, is an example of a sheet felt craft. Even a child will be able to make such a charming lamb. Its basis is a white blank in the form of a "cloud". A naive face is a piece of peach-pink felt with beady eyes. The nose is embroidered with black threads in literally three simple stitches. A flirty bow, decorated with beads, gives the craft an elegant and festive look. The details are connected to each other either with hidden stitches or with hot melt glue, which is even easier.

Another fun company of lambs, made in about the same way as the previous lamb. Only there is a girl, judging by the "hairstyle" with a pink bow, and here, in all likelihood, there are boys. They also have bows, but in the role of ties, and also blue. The body for each lamb is sewn from two identical parts and lightly stuffed with cotton to get some volume. The size and shape of toys can be arbitrary.

A soulful homemade gift for the New Year 2015 - multi-colored felt bookmarks for books with small loops on top. They are also decorated with miniature lambs, cut from the same thick felt and glued with hot melt glue.

Sheep-"monsters" with "different" eyes from buttons. But they look not scary at all. They have such stylish knitted scarves that it more than compensates for their non-standard appearance. Good as key chains or pendants. You can place them on Christmas tree branches - spectacular decorations will turn out.

Jewelry with sheep

From felt, by the way, all sorts of women's trinkets are excellent - brooches, earrings, bracelets and so on. Of course, they do not pretend to be super-elegant accessories, but they look quite good as jewelry. Such things with images of sheep and lambs will delight teenage girls and cheer up girls with a sense of humor.

How do you like such a cute creature? Coquettish felt brooch in the shape of a little sad, but pretty lamb. Its “legs” look especially unusual - tiny balls suspended on black thin laces. Such a brooch can be pinned to anything - to a coat, jacket, jacket, bag, beret.

Earrings, it turns out, can also be warm and cozy, but at the same time very delicate. And the whole secret is in an artless composition with a lamb grazing in a meadow. An accessory for women of fashion who adore everything non-standard and are not afraid to experiment.

Sleep pillows and more

At the sight of a lamb, you never had the desire to ... take a nap? After all, this animal symbolizes comfort, peace, warmth, and a homely relaxing atmosphere. And a very themed gift for New Year 2015 would be pillows with his image.

This is, however, a decorative pillow. You can't sleep on it - if only because the lamb here is "unformat": it consists of many sewn white buttons. A creative idea, effective and uncomplicated in execution. In any case, a pillow with a "button" lamb is quite suitable for interior decoration.

And this small, voluminous pillow is in the shape of a star. Sheep on it is made of fabric using applique technique. By the way, this idea can be adopted if you suddenly decide to do it for the holiday do it yourself a star on the tree- the image of a lamb on it will correspond to the theme of the coming year.

Knitted sheep

For those who are friends with crochet and knitting needles, knitting the symbol of 2015 is not a problem. The main thing is to find an idea that would inspire creativity. After all, every needlewoman wants to create not just another “copy” that will gather dust on the shelves of the closet, but a unique thing that will at least collect a lot of praise from relatives and friends, but as a maximum will also bring some kind of practical benefit.

Bright and positive sheep: they look very independent and even cocky - you can immediately see that they are bully. By the way, such lambs can not only be knitted, but also sewn from the remnants of old knitwear using the patchwork technique.

But the idea is even more interesting: sheepskin mittens. A truly New Year's gift: just for winter time. You can make it even more symbolic by knitting from natural sheep wool.

A knitted tea mug stand will also easily look like a lamb. However, it is a pity to put a mug on such a small miracle. Although such a stand will certainly have an effect on the taste and properties of tea - it will make it even more delightful and useful.

Sheep handbags

It's unusual, bold and not devoid of humor. You yourself are unlikely to buy such a handbag, but if you suddenly receive it as a gift from a loved one, then, perhaps, at least sometimes you will pick it up.

Glamorous lamb clutch in silver and black faux leather. The work is neat and stylish enough. For a fashionista with good taste and a sense of humor, such a clutch will look great even with an elegant New Year's dress.

Children's textile handbag - your daughter, granddaughter, sister or niece is unlikely to refuse such a thing. Yes, and such handbags are sewn quickly, because the pattern and design are extremely simplified. You can also just sew it for yourself, hang it on the wall and put all the little things you need there.

petitspuntspatch.blogspot.com.es

Handbag organizer for needlewomen. It is convenient to fold threads and scissors into the pockets of the blanket, which the lamb is covered with, and on top you can pin needles and pins, since the functions of an organizer and a pin cushion are combined here.

Sheep from fur

Do you have a piece of sheepskin at home? Great, he will help you make a sheep for the New Year 2015 with your own hands, and not even in a matter of minutes, but in a matter of seconds. Just think about where it will look best.

There was a rocking horse. The rocking lamb has become. Stylish, simple and in step with the times, that is, with the coming year. Wooden horses usually have handles attached to the head on the sides, which the child holds on to when swinging. Under the skin, they look like real sheep's horns. So no one would even suspect that under this sheep's clothing there is a completely different "animal".

etsy.com

And here even a horse was not required - it cost an old wooden stool. But what a luxurious piece of sheepskin was thrown over him and in what a picturesque perspective! There are four legs, there is wool, even the character is caught for sure. Isn't it a New Year's sheep?

Sheep made of wooden corks

If in your handicraft "bins" there are two or three corks from wine bottles, then try to make an original Christmas tree toy in the shape of a lamb. You can wrap it with cotton wool, woolen yarn, fibrous felt for felting, a piece of white fur, or something else from the same row. A craft that will be useful at home and as a souvenir.

Postcard with do-it-yourself sheep

The design of a holiday New Year's homemade card can be very different. But it is the sheep that will make it simple and at the same time memorable. High-quality cardmaking paper, a delicate satin ribbon and two types of scotch tape (double-sided and volumetric foamed to create embossed applications) - that's all you need. An example of such a wonderful postcard in the photo above.
