The most simple new year games and all sorts of contests are those where guests do not need to do anything - for example, they can be offered to burst balloons, inside which there will be wishes.
It is necessary to prepare in advance a large bunch of balloons (their number should be more than the number of guests, just in case), inside which little notes with wishes are embedded. For example, you can give a guest scissors and offer to cut the ball they like, and then read it out loud to all the guests - so simple, but cute fun helps the company to cheer up and unite.
"Tsiferki"
New Year's games and contests based on the “question-answer” model always attract a lot of applause. It is not surprising - everyone loves to laugh, but there are no difficulties.
So, the host distributes small pieces of paper and pens to the guests, and offers to write down their favorite number (or any other number that comes to mind). If you wish, you can record some sequence and play several rounds. When all the guests have coped with the task, the presenter says that now all those present will be able to find out bigger friend about a friend - he will ask questions, and the guests will answer them, picking up a piece of paper with the recorded numbers, and loudly announcing the answer.
It is best to choose simple questions - how old is this or that guest, how many times a day he eats, how much he weighs, how many times he stayed for the second year, and so on.

My favorite fun is funny contests for the new year. Of course, for the company of retirees it will be necessary to select something more decent, but in your circle you can always have fun - for example, by playing the game "Not a word of truth." 
The presenter will need to prepare a lot in advance New Year's questions such as:
- what tree is traditionally dressed up for a holiday?
- which film in our country symbolizes the new year?
- what is customary to launch into the sky on New Year's Eve?
- who is molded out of snow in winter?
- who on TV addresses the Russians with a New Year's speech?
- outgoing year - who is the year according to the Chinese calendar?
It is better to write down more questions, you can ask about New Year's traditions different countries, or the habits of the guests. During the game, the presenter will have to quickly and cheerfully ask his questions, and the guests will have to answer, without speaking a word of the truth.
Anyone who makes mistakes and answers truthfully, based on the results of the game, can read poetry, sing a song or fulfill various desires - you can use desires to play forfeits, for example, the loser needs to shove several slices of tangerine by both cheeks and say something like "I am a hamster and I eat grain, do not touch it - it is mine, and whoever takes it is the end!"... As entertainment for the new year 2020, you can play snipers. The funnest thing is to play this game when the participants are already a little drunk - and coordination becomes more free, and there is less constraint, and it is already a little more difficult to hit the target. 
The essence of the game is as follows - the guests are divided into two teams, and in turn each player throws "snowballs" into the bucket. A bucket from the players is set at a distance of five to seven meters; as "snowballs" you can use cotton balls, crumpled paper, or just take a couple of simple sets christmas balls made of plastic, which are sold in any supermarket.
I decided to improve this new year 2020 party game for adults and use kids as a "target" basketball hoops- getting into them with a soft ball of cotton is even more difficult than into a bucket.

Each pair has a "deer" and "Santa" (you can give one of the improvised horns, and the other Santa Claus caps - both are sold for mere pennies in the store of fixed prices before the new year).
The "deer" needs to be blindfolded and made a sled - no need to be smart, a simple clothesline or lace that wraps around the belt will do. The reins are given to Santa, who stands behind his "deer". A track is built from the pins, the leader gives a signal and the competition begins. The winners are those participants who came to the finish line earlier than others and did not knock down the pins. Instead of pins, you can use empty bottles, cardboard drink cups, or paper cones(we did it in the form of Christmas trees, it was very cute).
"Collective letter"
When it comes to New Year's games at the table, I always remember how my parents and friends each new year wrote a collective new year greetings for everyone present. You can use ready-made text (as in the image), you can make your own - the main thing is that it should not contain adjectives - they should be called by guests.
The presenter invites the guests to congratulate each other and say a big and beautiful toast - and waves a postcard on which he has already written down congratulations. Only now he did not have enough adjectives, and the guests should prompt them. All in disagreement offer adjectives related to winter, new year and holidays, and the host writes them down and then reads out the result - the text turns out to be very funny!
"Turnip: New Year's version"
Love New Year's contests for the whole family - then the turnip is what you need! 
So, you need to prepare the participants - you need them according to the number of characters in the fairy tale. Each participant is assigned a role in an impromptu performance. It's simple, the participant needs to remember the key phrase and the movement that he should act out when mentioning himself.
- The turnip will clap his knees and then clap his hands with the exclamation "Oba!"
- The grandfather rubs his palms and groans "Ta-ak-s!"

We supply each with a note to whom the gift is intended, but we do not write names, but some definitions over which guests will have to reflect and get to know each other better (ideally when there are newcomers who need to join an existing company).
What to write on labels:
- The owner of the darkest eyes.
- The best high jumper.
- The biggest bully (here you will have to tell everyone about your hooliganism in childhood).
- To the owner of the best tan.
- The owner of the highest heels.
- The owner of the most dangerous job.
- A pair whose clothing buttons add up to 10.

To play outdoors, you need a playground measuring 3 × 9 meters.
In the middle, across the site at a height of 1.5 meters, a rope or net is pulled, on each side of it, in squares drawn on the ground (3 × 3 meters), 9 townships are placed.
The players are divided into two equal teams of 3-5 people.
Having played the "cities" and the right of the first blow, the teams take turns from the center of their square to throw plywood rings over the rope (or net), trying to throw them on the towns standing in the opponent's square.
Each team player throws two rings. When the ring is thrown over the town, it is considered knocked out and removed from the field. The team that knocks out all the enemy towns wins.
Cities
This is an old Russian puzzle game.
Children can play it themselves in small groups. Each player takes several cities for himself, for example ten. In order not to forget your cities, you can write down each city on a separate sheet of paper and hold these sheets in front of you. (The names of the cities of the players should not be repeated, otherwise there will be confusion and disputes.)
One of the players is appointed as a riddler, he must ask ten riddles. Thinks the first one.
The players take turns approaching him and quietly so that the others do not hear, they say the answer.
Who could not guess, hands over to the riddler one of their cities.
When all the participants in the game have given an answer, a new riddle is asked. After the tenth riddle, they look at who has how many cities remain.
It also happens that some players surrender all their cities.
After ten riddles, the second riddler offers his riddles. Game continues. The one who guesses correctly gets the city he surrendered. Then the third riddle comes out with new riddles, and everyone guesses them.
After that, they consider who has how many cities remain. The winner is the one who has the most of them. Someone who surrendered all their cities and failed to return them is forced to do something funny.
Forbidden traffic
This game is played to music.
The participants in the game stand in a circle. The leader goes to the middle and agrees with the players that they will repeat all his movements after him without delay. But one movement, for example, “hands on the belt,” cannot be repeated. Anyone who breaks the rule is out of the game.
The game starts on a common signal. The presenter does various gymnastic exercises or dance movements to the music on the spot or moving in a circle, but at the same time "penalizes" all those who make mistakes.
Who is first?
The game is played with gymnastic wooden rings.
Three people are called and take this ring with their right hand.
A matchbox is placed at a distance of two meters from each of the players. At the signal, the players pull the ring towards their box, trying to get it out. Everyone will pull in their own direction, so this will not be very easy. Whoever gets his box first will be considered the winner.
Handshake
Put the two players side by side with their backs to each other, blindfold them and offer to take 3-4 steps forward, and then turn around twice in place, take the same number of steps back and shake hands.
Players and spectators should be quiet.
Offensive
The players are divided into two equal groups. Participants in the game line up on opposite sides of the site facing each other.
A line is drawn in front of the line. At the command of the leader, the players of one rank join hands and go forward to the other rank, which remains in place.
When the advancing team approaches the other by three or four steps, the mass activist gives a signal (two claps, a whistle). The attackers sever their hands, turn around and quickly run beyond their line. The players of the other team catch the fleeing ones. It is not allowed to pursue the enemy beyond the line, the stained players are counted, and they again go to their team.
After that, the second team goes on the offensive, and the players of the first team catch them on signal.
The game is repeated four to six times. The team that manages to tarnish more of the opposing team wins.
Drawing
The clown approaches a group of children, holding an ordinary stick in his hands.
This stick is bewitched, he announces. Obviously, everyone will be interested in what the wonderful properties of the stick are.
- I can hold it as long as I want, but any of you will throw it before I count to three! - declares the clown.
Someone will certainly try to hold the stick while the clown counts. The clown agrees to give a stick, but makes a condition:
“If you can hold the stick while I’m counting to three, then I’ll have to ride around this room on one leg. And if you do not hold out, then you will have to ride.
Then the clown passes the stick to the one who is arguing with him, and begins to count:
- Once! Two! I'll finish the count tomorrow morning. Will you hold the stick until the morning? No? Then jump!
Prizes (lotteries)
First option.
Tie the prizes to the strings and hide them behind a high blank partition or screen so that only the ends of the strings come out.
The lottery participant can pull the prize by the string.
Of course, he is not allowed to try to pull one rope or the other. Whichever one touched - that one and pull.

The first stage of the relay is sledging. Distance - 30-35 meters. Then skiers take the baton, who must climb the hill. Here the guys on the sleds take over the baton.
Their task: going down the hill, collect at full speed as many flags placed on both sides of the slope as possible. Then the relay goes to the skaters. They need to rush between towns without hitting them.
At the next stage, you need to roll four snowballs and throw them in a circle so that you get eyes, nose, mouth.
New stage: go down the mountain, standing together on the same pair of skis.
The relay again passes to the guys sitting on the sleds. Now they have to move, pushing off with sticks.
On the final stage it is required to ride as far as possible on the ice on one skate, without losing balance.
Of course, tasks in stages can be alternated in a different order.
Skiers, to the places!
The guys on skis with sticks slowly move in a circle in a column one by one, between them - the distance of the length of two or three skis.
The driver (without sticks), approaching one or the other skier, commands: "Follow me!"
The summoned, having thrust his sticks into the snow, follows the driver at a distance of two or three skis.
Each next summoned is attached to the back of the head of the previously summoned player and follows him.
Gradually, the driver takes all skiers with him at a distance of 50 meters away from the circle now marked with sticks.
At the same time, he can go up and down the hills along the way, changing direction.
Suddenly the driver commands: "To the place!"
Skiers run to the circle and take any place between the sticks, grabbing them.
The driver does the same.
Whoever is late and is left without a seat becomes the driver, and the game continues again.
"Day and night"
Two teams go in two columns, one at a distance of two steps from each other on both sides of the middle line of the site, two meters from it.
One team is called "Day", the other is "Night". 25 meters from the middle line on each side - the grounds of the teams "Day" and "Night". The plots are limited by lines parallel to the midline.
The host calls one of the teams: "Night!" The summoned team makes a turn towards their court and runs beyond its line. The players of the other team are trying to catch up with them. The one who is caught up stops.
The leader counts the stopped, and they join their team.
After a few runs, the game ends.
The team with the fewest stopped players wins.
Sled relay
The participants of the game form two teams and line up in pairs in columns. Each team has a sled with a rope installed on the starting line. Flags or snowmen are placed 15-25 meters from it.
At the signal of the leader, one of the players of the first pair of each team quickly sits in the sled, and the second carries him to the flag.
Here they change places, and the player who previously sat in them brings the sled to the start.
The returning pair becomes the last in its column, and the sled is also quickly received by the second pair, leads them to the flag and back and passes to the third pair, etc.
The winner is the team whose players finish skating earlier.
Snowmen
It is better to play the game on a warm winter day outside, when the snow is good. It involves several links that are the same in number.
At the first signal from the leader, each link rolls large snowballs and makes a snowman out of them on the target line at a distance of 10-15 steps from the throwing line.
Snowmen's heads are made small and are not attached to the body.
Then each link prepares a supply of snowballs and places them at the throwing line.
At the second signal, the links begin to throw snowballs at their snowman, trying to knock his head off. However, they do not cross the throwing line.
The first to knock off the head of its snowman wins.
Catch up!
Two teams line up in columns at a distance of three meters from one another and facing the judge.
Thirty meters to the side of each column, a straight line is drawn - the "city".
At the command of the judge "First, run away!" the players of the first team turn their faces to their "city" and run, trying to cross its line as quickly as possible. And the players of the second team run after them, trying to catch up with the fleeing ones and touch them with their hand.
The referee counts how many players managed to catch up and tarnish before they crossed the line of their "city".
Then both teams return to their places and the game resumes.
The referee gives the command "Run away!"
