Jacquard knitted cardigans. Longline cardigan with jacquard knitting needles

Dimensions: 36/38 (40/42) 44/46

You will need: yarn (100% cashmere; 87 m / 25 g) - 325 (350) 375 g gray, 50 (75) 75 g light gray and 25 g dark gray; knitting needles No. 4,5 and 5; circular knitting needles No. 4.5; 6 buttons.

Pattern 1:(needles No. 4.5) elastic (odd number of loops). Front rows: edging, alternately 1 purl, 1 front, finish 1 purl, edge. In the purl rows, knit the loops according to the pattern. If the number of stitches is even, the last buttonhole will not be sewn.

Knit the following patterns on the needles number 5.

Pattern 2: front stitch = front rows - front loops, purl rows - purl loops.

Both jacquard patterns include: rapport = 12 p. Knit acc. counting scheme 1 or 2 with a pattern of 2 threads from different balls in the Norwegian technique, while freely pulling the unused thread along the seamy side of the work. The diagrams show 1 rapport with front and back rows, respectively. Distribute loops acc. instructions.

Pattern 3: jacquard pattern A = knit acc. counting scheme 1. Perform 1 times 1-50th rows.

Pattern 4: jacquard pattern B = knit acc. counting scheme 2. Perform 1 time 1-22 nd rows.

Underlined decreases:at the beginning of the row= hem, 1 front, knit 2 loops together; at the end of the row= knit up to 4 loops from the end, then knit 2 loops together with a tilt to the left (remove 1 loop as front, 1 front, then pull it through the removed loop), 1 front, edge.

Underlined gains:at the beginning of the row= edge, 1 front, 1 front crossed, knit from a transverse thread; at the end of the row= knit up to 2 loops from the end, then knit 1 crochet from a cross thread. 1 front, edge.

Chain edge:in front rows Knit the 1st loop with the front one crossed, remove the last loop as purl, while keeping the thread behind the loop. V purl rows Knit 1st loop with purl crossed, remove the last loop as purl, while keeping the thread in front of the loop.

Knitting density: pattern 2 - 19 p. x 28 p. = 10 x 10 cm; patterns 3 and 4 - 20 p. x 23 p. = 10 x 10 cm; strip - 8 p. pattern 1 + chain edging = 3.5 cm.

Back: with a gray thread, cast on the needles 103 (115) 127 loops and for the strap knit 2 cm with pattern 1. Continue with pattern 2. After 4.5 cm = 12 rows from the strap, emphasize decrease for a trapezoidal shape on both sides 1 x 1 p., then in each 10th row 5 x 1 p. = 91 (103) 115 p. After 25 cm = 70 rows from the plank, continue to work with pattern 3, while starting with 1 edge and the last 2 rapport loops, perform rapport 7 (8) 9 times, finish with the first 3 repeat loops and 1 hem. Attention: the decrease in width due to different knitting density on the pattern is taken into account in the bevel size. After 6 cm = 14 rows from changing the pattern, close for the armholes on both sides 1 x 3 p., Then emphasize subtract 3 (4) 5 x 1 p. In each 2nd row and 3 x 1 p. In each 4th row . = 73 (83) 93 p. After 21.5 cm = 50 rows from changing the pattern, continue working with pattern 2 again with a gray thread. Attention: the increase in width due to different knitting density on the pattern is taken into account in the size of the armhole. After 5 cm = 14 rows (7 cm = 20 rows) 9 cm = 26 rows from the last change of the pattern, close for the shoulder bevel on both sides 1 x 5 (6) 7 p. And in each 2nd row 2 x 5 (6 ) 7 p. Simultaneously with the 1st decrease for the shoulder, close the middle 27 (29) 31 p. For the neckline and finish both sides separately. For rounding along the inner edge, close in each 2nd row 1 x 2 p. And 1 x 1 p. After 7 cm = 20 rows (9 cm = 26 rows) 11 cm = 32 rows from the last pattern change, close the remaining 5 ( 6) 7 p. Shoulders.

Left shelf: with gray thread, dial on the needles 60 (66) 72 loops and for the strap tie 2 cm with pattern 1. Then, on the first 51 (57) 63 sts, continue with pattern 2, for the remaining 8 sts, continue with pattern 1 for the strap, finish 1 with chain edging. Decreases for a trapezoidal shape along the right edge should be performed as on the back = 54 (60) 66 sts. After 25 cm = 70 rows from the plank, continue to work on the first 45 (51) 57 sts with pattern 3, while starting with 1 edge and the last 2 p. Rapport, repeat the rapport 3 (4) 4 times, finish with the first 6 (0) 6 p. Rapport, continue to knit the bar with a pattern of 1 gray thread. With a gray thread, knit across the entire width, when changing the color of the thread from light gray and dark gray to gray in front of the bar, cross the threads on the seamy side of the work to avoid the formation of holes. I will pass along the right edge, as on the back = 45 (50) 55 p. After 21.5 cm = 50 rows from changing the pattern, continue with pattern 2 with a gray thread. After 3 cm = 8 rows (5 cm = 14 rows) 7 cm = 20 rows from the last change of the pattern, leave 1 x 15 (16) 17 p. For the neckline along the left edge, then close 1 x in each 2nd row for rounding 3 p., 2 x 2 p. And 3 x 1 p. Simultaneously perform the shoulder bevel, as on the back. At the height of the back, close the remaining 5 (6) 7 sts of the shoulder.

Right shelf: knit in the same way as the left shelf, but in a mirror image and with 6 holes for buttons. For each hole in the front row from the edge of the bead, knit a chain edging and 2 strap loops, then knit the loops together with a tilt to the left (remove 1 loop as the front loop, 1 front loop and stretch it through the removed loop) and make 1 yarn over, then finish acc. pattern. In the seamy row, knit the crochet with the front one. The 1st hole for the button should be made after 17 cm = 48 rows (19 cm = 54 rows) 21 cm = 60 rows from the initial row, the remaining 5 holes for buttons should be made with an interval of 5 cm = 14 rows (excluding the front and back rows of the hole for the button).

Sleeves: with gray thread, cast on the knitting needles for each sleeve 51 (55) 59 loops and for the strap knit 1.5 cm = 3 rows with pattern 1, starting with purl 1. Then knit 1.5 cm = 4 rows with pattern 2 with a gray thread, continue with pattern 4, while starting with 1 edge and the last 0 (2) 4 points of the rapport, repeat the rapport 4 times, end with the 1st loop or the first (3 ) 5 loops of rapport, respectively, and edging. Simultaneously after 7 cm = 16 rows from the plank, add emphasized 1 x 1 p. on both sides, then in each 18th row 5 x 1 p. (alternately in each 12th and 14th row 7 x 1 p.) in each 10th row 9 x 1 p. acc. thread color and pattern = 63 (71) 79 p. After 9.5 cm = 22 rows from the plank, continue working with pattern 2 with a gray thread again. After 34.5 cm = 96 rows from the last change of the pattern, close the sleeves for the ridge on both sides 1 x 3 p., Then in each 2nd row, emphasize decrease 16 x 1 p. And close 2 x 2 p. After 48 cm = 134 rows from the last change of the pattern, close the remaining 17 (25) 33 p.

Assembly: perform shoulder seams. With a gray thread, knit the left 15 (16) 17 points of the right shelf on the circular knitting needles acc. pattern, then dial on the edge of the neckline another 77 (79) 81 loops and knit the remaining 15 (16) 17 loops of the left shelf acc. pattern. For the strap, knit on all 107 (111) 115 sts with pattern 1, while starting with purl 1, continue pattern 1 of the straps of the shelves and include the loops between them in the pattern. With a plank width of 2 cm = 4 rows, close all loops according to the pattern. Sew on sleeves. Execute side seams and the seams of the sleeves. Sew on buttons.

Greetings, friends.

I still could not get myself together to show one of her "lankers". I knitted it for a long time, but not because the work was time-consuming, but because I started and put it off: it was more urgent to knit this jacket and then this, and a few more small gizmos ... Well, after all, you still have to gather your courage to take and finish what was thrown ...

The cardigan was knitted on knitting needles No. 3.5 from Semyonovskaya - Lada yarn (100 g / 380 m, 15% wool, 35% alpaca, 50% acrylic) - the color "thunderstorm" and white. The yarn was bought a long time ago and was intended for another product, but due to the statute of limitations, the need for the originally conceived thing has already disappeared, and the plans have changed - I decided to knit a cardigan with knitting needles. And since the yarn of gray-blue color would not be completely enough for him, I had to come up with something to combine it with. The result is such a tandem pattern with offset loops and jacquard .

To be honest, I don’t remember exactly how much yarn was used in total (if I’m not mistaken, about 600 g), but the cardigan turned out to be both light and warm at the same time. I made a model with wide slats and without a fastener - instead of a fastener a belt, but if you wish, you can wear it just like that, wide open.

Work sequence

The pattern here is simple - just rectangles for the back and shelves (however, the shelves still need a bevel for the collar bar). I did not knit the armhole, therefore, the sleeves in the upper part are straight, without an ridge line.

Bottom of cardigan and cuff tied pattern "Marine" and the upper part of the back and front - tricolor jacquard pattern(for jacquard to "Semyonovskaya" I also added a dark blue acrylic yarn"Ogonyok"), and knitted the straps and belt "Confused"... Diagrams and descriptions of patterns can be found by clicking on the links.

The back and front knitted from bottom to top. First, I tied the back - just a rectangle (57 cm with a "Marine" pattern and 26 cm with a jacquard pattern), only on top I made a small depression for the neckline of the back.

The straps were knitted simultaneously with the shelves, separating them from the main pattern with one loop purl surface... And to subtract the loops for the bevels of the shelves of the V-neck, I began already from the waist line.

I did the following: every 5 rows, in the front rows, the loop of the purl between the plank and the main pattern and the adjacent loop of the “Marine” pattern, and then of the jacquard, knitted together with the purl - in this way, the subtractions made on things are almost invisible ...

When I knitted the shelves to the shoulder line, I closed the shoulder loops, and continued to knit the strap loops. To determine exactly how long they still needed to be tied, I first sewed the shelves with the back on the shoulders and tried on the bar to the neckline on the back - the extended part of the bar of each shelf should reach the middle of the back neckline.

Having tied the straps to the desired length, I continued to knit them shortened rows so that the strap along the outer edge is slightly longer than the inner one, where it comes into contact with the neckline (otherwise the shawl mini-collar will not fit well). She left the hinges of the planks open and connected them later. stitching stitch, the plank in the neck area was hemmed to the back.

The sleeves could be knitted from the bottom up, starting from the cuffs. But I did the opposite: I typed the loops for the sleeves from the edges of the back and shelves (it was easier for me to guess their width at the top), and knitted with a jacquard pattern from top to bottom, making subtractions, and finished with wide cuffs.

At the end I sewed the sleeves and made side seams on the back and shelves, tied the belt. This was the end of the work with the cardigan. On this I will finish my own short description... Until next time, friends!
