Knitting a sweater for a boy - fashionable models. Striped pullover for a boy with knitting needles Description of a children's sweater for boys

Beautiful knitted things on small children evoke tenderness. Tiny blouses, caps, pants cannot but delight. But for babies, knitted fabric not only fulfills an aesthetic function. It is of particular value, since newborns have not yet established an independent heat exchange - they really need additional thermal insulation and protection.

Clothes for legs

First of all, the child needs to insulate the legs. They do it well knitted socks and booties. Socks for babies differ from adult models only in size, but booties are the first shoes, they are presented both in the form of shoes, boots, and are similar to sandals. Booties-shoes and boots usually have ties to hold tightly on the leg; Velcro is not recommended, otherwise it will scratch the skin. Sandals can be worn in the summer, but they act only as a decor, they will not protect from dust and drafts. In summer, socks are safer. Standard sizes socks and booties range from 8 cm to 13 cm. The size is equal to the length of the baby's foot. Every 3 months, the leg adds 1 cm, so when calculating, you can push off from the age of the baby. The length of the foot is measured from the heel to the tip of the big toe.

Knitted hat - beautiful protection

A child under one year old has a soft area called the "fontanelle", and until it is overgrown, it is imperative to wear a hat that will protect and insulate the head. Such hats should be seamless and have a minimum of different fasteners - knitted hats are suitable for this role. In our catalog you will find knitting patterns to create beautiful hats of different types:

  • classic hats;
  • caps;
  • helmet hats.

And, perhaps, knit something individual for your boy or girl. The size of the cap is determined by the girth of the head. Have little kid the girth is about 35 cm, then every 3 months it increases by an average of 4 cm and by the first year of life it reaches 47 cm. The hat should be knitted so that it can stretch slightly and at the same time not slide on the child's forehead.

Knitted jumpsuits for newborns

Jumpsuit is a practical thing in a children's wardrobe, it is easy to put on. There are two main types: jumpsuit-bag and jumpsuit with panties. The first type is convenient for home use, since the lower part can be unbuttoned and quickly changed the diaper, and the second is mainly relevant for walking.

The size of the jumpsuit for newborn girls and boys is calculated based on the girth of the chest, waist, hips, as well as height. It should be borne in mind that babies grow quickly, and by the time when knitted thing will be ready, it may be small.

Accessories and jewelry for babies

A one-year-old child does not need separate jewelry, since knitted clothes beautiful in itself. Small details can be dangerous - children of this age love to taste everything. The only thing a baby can safely knit is a scarf in addition to a hat and mittens. You should not make a long scarf, it is enough to knit such a length that it is enough for one and a half turns.

If you still need to decorate the clothes, you can improvise with edging, tying things with pico or scallops or adding lace. Such decorations are not suitable for things for boys until the first year, in this case it is better to rely on color and texture. For example, on hats for boys, patterns with braids and aranami, alternating stripes from garter and purl stitches will look great.

Choose the right yarn

The yarn should be appropriate for the season for which the item is being created. For winter clothes acrylic is suitable - it is warm, does not prick, tolerates multiple washes. Despite its synthetic origin, it is hypoallergenic. Cashmere and angora are also good. Many manufacturers produce lines especially for newborns - you can safely take such yarn. Wool and mohair are not suitable for baby's delicate skin, they cause unbearable itching. Summer clothes are knitted from cotton yarn, bamboo. You should not use threads with the addition of lurex, sequins and other things. The yarn must match the number of knitting needles.

The simpler the clothes, the more comfortable and safe the baby is.

Avoid buttons - the child may tear them off and swallow them. The same goes for bells, brushes and other elements. There is no need to make applications - a child under one year old spends most of the time in a supine position, bulges can interfere. In addition, overly decorated items are difficult to wash.

Pay attention to knit density and pattern

Choose simple patterns to knit the thing faster. Don't knit the garment too tightly or it will squeeze. Also, with tight knits, you run the risk of getting a smaller size.

Knit according to the current size of the crumbs

Not always tying for growth means doing better. You can not knit hats bigger size- they will slide and not protect the head. In overalls, a child can drown, and babies react sharply to inconveniences. If the thing still turns out to be larger, set it aside until the crumb grows up, and tie another.

How to choose

With the onset of the cold season, the purchase of warm clothes for your child becomes relevant. A sweater for autumn and winter is extremely popular in the boy's wardrobe. Boys wear sweaters everywhere, play in the yard, wear them to school and to clubs. For a toddler who visits Kindergarten, in winter and autumn, the most comfortable form of clothing is a cozy sweater.

There are so many models that it is difficult to choose the right one among the variety of styles. Here useful tips to help you choose:

  1. Buy sweaters of different warmth for autumn and winter - thick ones are suitable for cold weather, and in autumn it is more convenient to put on a less bulky sweater, made of knitwear or cotton, so that the child is comfortable. Stop your choice on models made from natural fabrics, as well as their mixtures. And keep the percentage of synthetic materials to a minimum.
  2. The first thing to pay attention to is how practical the thing is. A smart sweater is no exception. For children, white and light-colored clothes are made with less easily soiled sleeves so that the clothes are less dirty.
  3. Inconveniently positioned and protruding inner seams cause discomfort to a child with delicate skin. Examine the sweater carefully, turning it inside out.
  4. The purchased model should please the boy, not be “girly” or the wrong color. It is better to choose with him, then you can purchase a thing exactly in size, and not tight or for growth, so that your child will gladly wear all the sweaters bought for him.

Beautiful styles

For boys 2, 3, 4 years old

For little boys from two to four years old, it is preferable to wear sweaters with knitted trousers with suspenders or comfortable high-waisted jeans. Sweater styles are usually without a collar or with a stand, with a fastener on the collar.

Sweaters are not long, decorated with prints or beautiful inscriptions. For kids, choose applications in the form of animals and fish, cartoon characters. Warm sweaters are characterized by a combination of two shades of the same color, which complement each other.

The color scheme is mainly light, along with white and baked milk, blue and pale green, as well as light purple and gray-lilac shades prevail.

For boys 5, 6, 7, 11 years old

Boys 5-6 years old love to play outdoor games and spend a lot of time with their peers. Only a soft and comfortable sweater can be suitable for a child of this age. Sweaters with hoods and edging, bright colors, decorated with stars and multi-colored stripes look beautiful. A six-year-old dandy can try to appear in the garden at a holiday in a white or yellow sweater made of fine knitwear with a pattern.

Schoolchildren get older at once, so for them “serious” models are chosen, in which the colors are less saturated, and the styles are reminiscent of men. The geometric pattern on the sweater and the rolled-up sleeves, as well as the intricate scarf collar, will make your first grader look stylish.

For boys 11 years old good choice can become a knitted sweater with a pattern with a zipper, long or reaching to the middle of the chest. The colors prevailing in the pattern must match the color of the trousers. In winter, a turtleneck sweater with a neckline in noble shades of gray and blue perfectly protects from the cold. Convex knit sweaters with a strap on the chest look spectacular.

Stylish models

Raglan

V classical model raglan sleeve sweaters are the beveled shoulder line. Sweaters with such sleeves of a loose fit, with an enlarged armhole. Therefore, it is convenient to play them and raise your hand up in the lesson. Designers use raglan to create designs in which the sleeves are different in color from the rest of the garment, making this sweater very smart and stylish.

Faux sweater

Sweaters with a cutout, or blended, can replace a school jacket, they are created for a set with a beautiful shirt of a close or contrasting color. Deceptions have both a small cutout and a deep enough clasp. As a rule, the trompe l'oeil is plain or with edging of a different color.

With braids

The braid pattern is reminiscent of hand-knitted sweaters. This winter season, loose styles are in vogue, decorated with voluminous braids on the sides and on the sleeves.

A sweater with braids is monophonic or in several different threads; for such a pattern, choose a beige or gray scale. Warm model can be without a collar or with a smooth knit collar and a fastener in the form of one or more buttons on the chest. Looks beautiful with such a sweater a red scarf on the neck, tied in a knot back.

To school

The school has the usual uniform, but in the cold season, a shirt or sweater is worn under the jacket. For informal events, you can also dress more freely - in a white or black sweater with pants and shoes. A solid-colored bodycon sweater looks good with black pants and patent leather shoes... Thin elegant sweaters are sewn from smooth jersey.

Warm

A warm sweater should not be prickly. Therefore, wool sweaters are usually worn with a cotton shirt, which softens the touch of the garment to the body. Soft and warm sweaters for winter are made of blends of pure wool, angora and mohair, as well as wool with the addition of acrylic and viscose yarns.

With drawing

Patterned sweaters are smart and suitable for both toddlers and older boys. The animals depicted on them, houses and sea pictures are usually white or very light on a darker background.

A bright yellow sweater can be painted with SpongeBob, and a bright red one - funny snowmen and portraits of fabulous reindeer from Santa Claus's team. Christmas sweaters for boys school age not so bright, with a large image of a deer or a herringbone.

Actual colors and prints

Sweaters for boys keep the trend male fashion... This also applies to the choice of color, but for children, the color shades will be more vivid. Red, burgundy, green and brown and their combinations.

This is my first online, so do not blame me I accept advice, criticism, recommendations.

I make the calculations in centimeters, then translate them into loops.

We will knit this model

First of all, we determine the required size:

For age: (3) 6 months (1) 2 (4) years

Dimensions (edit) finished product(tentatively):
chest girth - (49) 53 (60) 64 (71) cm,
product length - (25) 28 (32) 37 (43) cm,
sleeve length - (16) 19 (22) 25 (28) cm.

My Pullover Pattern

This was the introduction.

So let's get started!

I chose the yarn for the pullover wool blend "Malyshok" from LAMA (Russia), 30% merino, 70% acrylic, 260m * 100gr, 2mm needles.
I will knit in a circle for size 74 (9 months).

The first thing I did was knit a pattern to figure out the knitting density.
For the sample, I took the pocket that will be on the pullover.
Tied a square 8 * 8 cm face stitch(21 loops * 30 rows), on the sides I knitted elastic bands 2 * 2 3 cm long.

The knitting density was: 28 loops * 35 rows (10 * 10 cm)

For 9 months, I took the average value between 6 months and 1 year (53-60 cm) = 56 cm from "Dimensions of the finished product (roughly)"

So, calculations: I need 156.8 loops for 56 cm of smooth surface.
I will knit an elastic band 2 * 2 (n * 4), in the front surface, go to 2 * 1 (n * 3). 156 stitches / 3 = 52. n = 52 loops.

This means that the elastic in circular knitting will be 52 * 4 = 208 loops, and the smooth surface is 52 * 3 = 156 loops. In the last row of elastic, knit every 2 purl loops into one.
I do all these calculations so that the elastic is as wide as the pullover itself and does not pull the product into an accordion. I do not like the accordion when changing from elastic to stitching. You can skip this step if you wish, simply by calculating the required number of loops for the circumference of the pullover.

We knit an elastic band 4 cm in height, then we move on to knitting the smooth surface until the beginning of the raglan - purl loops. I have 17 cm-60 rows.

Description of work for size 74, knitting density 28p * 35r.

Front and back.
On toe knitting needles # 2, cast on 208 stitches, knit round 4 cm with 2x2 elastic band. In the last row of elastic, knit every two purl loops into one (156 loops turned out). Then continue knitting with satin stitch (purl loops). At a work height of 21 cm, close the loops for the armholes on the sides as follows: bind off 10 sts, knit 68 sts, bind 10 sts, knit a row to the end (136 sts). Set hinges aside.

Sleeves.
On toe knitting needles # 2, cast on 52 sts, knit round 4 cm with 2x2 elastic band. In the last row of elastic, knit every two purl loops into one (39 loops turned out). Then continue knitting in satin stitch (purl loops), adding 2 loops on both sides of the sleeves in 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, 31, 35, 38, 42, 45, 49, 52, 56, 59 rows = 73 stitches. Tie up to row 60, close middle 10 sts. inside(63 loops), set the remaining loops.

Raglan.
Move all loops to circular knitting needles No. 3, placing sleeves loops between back and front = 262 sts. Close middle 10 sts in front to form a cut and then knit in straight and reverse rows with a pattern of braids (252 sts).
In the 1st row, at each junction of the parts, knit 2 stitches together. = 248 p. Mark 1 p. At each junction of the parts and then this loop and one loop on the right and left to knit (3 loops). At the same time, for the raglan bevels in the faces. In a row, perform decreases around every three loops as follows: in front of them, knit 2 sts together. broach (= remove 1 p. as persons., knit 1 person. p. and stretch it through the removed loop), then knit 3 persons. p. (= marked loops), then knit 2 sts together. = decreased by 8 points in 1 row. Repeat such decreases in every second row 16 times = 252-128 = 124 sts. Then, to cut the neckline, decrease 3 loops on both sides from the middle of the front in 3 rows (-18 loops). At the same time, continue to perform reductions for the raglan bevels in every 2nd row. Set aside the remaining loops.

Assembly.
Sew under the armpits.

When knitting individual parts: back, in front of the sleeves. The calculation is as follows: on the back we decrease 5 loops on both sides 78-10 = 68 loops, at the front we kill 5 loops on both sides and 10 loops in the center (-20 loops), we get two halves of 29 loops, on the sleeves we decrease 5 sts on both sides 73-10 = 63 sts. On the raglan, there are 16 decreases in 2 loops (32 loops each: from the back 68-32 = 36p, from the sleeves 63-32 = 31p, from the front 58-32 = 26p). Then, a decrease in three loops per neckline of 3 rows begins - decrease three loops in each row (only from the front -18 p), at the same time it decreases in raglan 2 times. Then I knit one more row for one decrease in raglan. Remains 30 loops on the back and 25 loops on the sleeves.

17.07.15
I apologize for the long absence.
The schemes were made with mistakes - between the rows with crossed loops in a narrow braid there should be three rows, and in a wide one - seven rows each.

7.08.15
So I returned after a short absence due to my son's ill health - it was not at all up to the pullover. Everyone is healthy now, y-t-t!

Corrected the calculations for the sleeve (it was short). The calculations for the raglan are not yet accurate. As soon as I tie up the sleeves and get into the raglan, I'll edit

The calculations were performed using data from the tables I have provided on the site http://www.mnemosina.ru/all-vikroiki/v-det-all/v8
I slightly adjusted for myself
It is possible that the calculations will still be slightly corrected

That's all for today. I hope I wrote everything clearly. If you have any questions - ask, I will try to help.

Description

Back and front of the sweatshirt with a hood

We type with knitting needles No. 3 (183) 201 (217) sts with a thread of the color of wet asphalt, knit in straight and reverse rows 7 cm with an elastic band 1 x 1. After that, change the cn. on number 3.5 and knit in a circle l. Ch., dialing 4 points at the end of the row (they are not included in the scheme).

At the same time, in the 1st row we evenly add (16) 16 (18) p. = (199) 217 (235) p. + 4 p., Then continue even knitting.

Having reached a height of (41) 45 (49) cm, we make marks so that each shelf has (49) 54 (58) p., And on the back - (101) 109 (119) p., Then we adhere to scheme A.

It is necessary to knit up to a height of (60) 64 (68) cm, then, to cut the neckline, close 16 sts in the middle (= 8 sts + 4 sts + 8 sts). We continue to work in straight and reverse rows, without forgetting to close the necklines for bevels from the inner sides in each row by (3, 2, 1, 1 p.) 3, 2, 1, 1 p. (3, 2, 1, 1, 1 NS.).

We continue knitting until the drawing is completely ready, then we knit 2 more rows with an ash-colored thread and remove all the loops for an additional cn ..

Sleeves

We dial (40) 42 (44) sts on the cn. No. 3 with a thread of the color of wet asphalt, knit 7 cm in a circle with an elastic band 1 x 1, then change the cn. on number 3.5 and knit l. Ch., evenly increasing the number of loops in the first row to (54) 56 (60) p.

We mark the middle loop on the inside and add 1 point on both sides of it every 2 cm, while on the cn. we will not get (90) 96 (102) p.

Having reached a height of (28) 30 (34) cm, we start knitting the pattern according to scheme B (the central part of the sleeve is marked on cx.), Then we knit another 2 cm with ash thread and close all the loops.

Assembly

To separate the shelves, mark 2 cm in the middle of the canvas and stitch along the edges with a zigzag and cut in the center. By the same principle, we make cuts for the armholes of the required height. We carry out shoulder seams with a stitching stitch.

Working on the hood

With knitting needles No. 3 and a thread of the color of wet asphalt, we dial along the neckline (76) 80 (84) p., Straight and reverse rows 1 p. rubber band 1 x 1.

We change the cn. at number 3.5 and further we work on the hood - knit with an ash thread l. Ch., noting the middle loop on the back and adding on both sides of it 1 p. in each 4th row until we get (100) 106 (110) p. and to the height (23) 24 ( 25) see.

Then we add 1 p. On both sides of the middle 2 loops, we repeat the increments in every 4th row.

It is necessary to knit (32) 33 (34) cm, then fold the cloth in half and knit the loops of both edges, 2 sts each, while closing them.

Assembly

Along the edge of the shelf with an ash thread we evenly collect loops (4-5 sts for every 2 cm), knit 2 cm with an elastic band 1 x 1. Close the loops according to the figure.

We tie another shelf in the same way. Sew in the sleeves, leaving the cut edges on the seamy side. Sew on a zipper and a knitted raglan with a zipper with a hood for a boy or a girl is ready!
