According to the "tradition" that has developed for some time now, I continue to share with you from my own experience how and how the "promotion" of little-known performers is actually taking place at the present time by taking part in certain events, festivals, competitions and whether it happens ... I try to be always objective and as frank as possible. And, of course, I "check" it empirically on myself, and then I share my impressions and describe the "seen, heard", designated.
So. Recently, I "made an attempt" to take part in the project of the HRC Grigory Leps "Vysshaya Proba". I took the project / competition very seriously, because the name of the center alone is worth it…. I carefully read the terms and conditions, uploaded the necessary content and published the entries in social media. networks about their participation in order to attract the maximum number of votes.

According to the rules of the competition, every week two contestants with the most votes are selected for face-to-face performance. Voices in my support began to grow rather quickly. By a certain point, I took first place in the standings. However, there was no invitation from the organizers. Another week passed. The number of votes is growing - there is no invitation. Another week ... And when the HRC Vysshaya Proba voiced the last two contestants of the division, I was surprised, because I again did not find my name among them. I asked the organizers how it happened that, despite the fact that I fulfilled their conditions, I never ended up among the participants who get the right to further battle in the project? They were as surprised as I was, asking where I got the information that the last participants had been designated. After the correspondence, which lasted a couple of days, they thanked me for my attention and said that they simply did not have time to change the rules for the second division and that, it turns out, two more participants would be invited. Well, I, of course, can imagine the busyness and workload of the organizers and administration, but this competition began in March !!! And it turns out that we find out only a couple of days before the final that the rules have not been changed. How is that??? It became interesting to me! Really, in six months, no one except me has studied these rules and paid attention to this, neither their own nor the organizers? This, to be honest, surprised me a little ...

Anyway!!! We are waiting for the last two lucky ones of the fifth division, who will be invited to participate in the project further. My positions continue to grow, while the gap is becoming more significant and significant. The intensity of passions is also growing and the participants, as well as those who support them, begin to ask the administration how they select the artists and on what basis, which clearly does not correspond to the stated rules. And all these questions were answered with great pleasure by the host of the project, Vitaly:

After watching the video, many points became clear, in addition to who are all the same "professionals" in their understanding and whom they are looking for specifically. After all, they have written in black and white (their favorite phrase) “Do you want new talented artists to sound on radio stations? And we want the same! ” Not a word in the conditions, in the requirements, on "professionalism" (availability of diplomas, etc.) and, moreover, on the "mechanisms" of its verification is not indicated. Also, Vitaliy named the specific names of the participants whom they “cannot invite” due to the poor quality of the video, the winding up voices, etc. But how then can one explain the fact that, nevertheless, participants who provided material of far from the best quality come to them, nevertheless, with enviable frequency, where neither voices nor faces are clearly visible (the same view from the back), but an impressive list of festivals, competitions in which the group / performer took part. Also, the requirements in the rules for the quality of the video are also not spelled out anywhere ... Plus, performers with frankly "twisted" voices still get to the project! I will talk about this further.

So, for a start, I decided to ask the organizers / administration what “professional performer” means for them and whether it makes sense for me to continue to participate at all, tk. I have no musical education and, if it were indicated in the rules, I would not even take part, of course. I received the following answer to my question (spelling and punctuation preserved):

« In fact, everything is simple: a "professional" artist is determined by the presence of 1) the author's material recorded not in three chords and three tributaries, but modern and interesting, and most importantly, that it could be listened to! 2) You can consider everything from two sides, from the first one, when we are looking for a ready talent who knows in which direction to work, what to do, but he does not have the means for this, but he has a clear plan and aspiration, but here it is important to remember about ambitions and self-assessments, many often overestimate it, considering themselves "well, very cool" although this is not adequately so! On the other hand, we want to find such an artist who has already taken place, and he is inscribed in the modern musical framework, now we will explain, conditionally, if you are informal and consider yourself an original type, but at the same time your originality does not have fans, confirmation of activity, etc., then it is unlikely whether we choose you, but if you prove that your originality has the right to be, then we will already fight to have the honor to cooperate with you! And the second option if you are a pedant and you know what and how you need and does it according to the format!

But then a wonderful miracle happens !!!))) 03.10.16 the last participants of the second division are announced. We look at table number 3. Oh how !!! They somehow managed not only to get on the project, but also to gain a decent number of votes after the voting was closed (in table No. 3, participants under No. 5 and No. 6 were invited, and a completely new participant appeared in position No. 4 like a bolt from the blue! ). And here, of course, again the question is not for the participants, how did they succeed ?! Well done guys! Everyone makes his way to the future in the way he considers possible and necessary, it is worthy of respect, and to the organizers. Why then the rules? Why loud words about the fact that we do not invite "screwed up"? How is the process organized and how? For what and for whom?

Of course, I drew attention to this fact and right in their VK group, which, by the way, even has an extremely friendly crisp - inviting inscription “Ask your questions. You can just write “hello”, we don’t bite and are always happy to communicate ”, asked questions about how, nevertheless, the selection of participants takes place, what the organizers are guided by and why everything that happens does not correspond to the rules too much. Moreover, on their main page of the official website, the phrase shines so brilliantly and proudly like the Hollywood inscription: “Tired of rigged results? And we are tired! " Other people joined my signature and questions, who would also be interested in clarifying a number of these points.

And on this solemn note, the curtain falls))) Our correctly and culturally asked, moreover, well-reasoned questions and comments are deleted, and we who are interested - quietly and calmly, without noise and dust, we simply place / enter / stick into the Black List) other social networks - silence ...

At this moment I was even confused ... It was really unexpected, because there was no offensive / accusatory character in the questions and comments, just the questions of interest were asked. What was the difficulty for the organizers / administrators to just explain? Why did we get banned? For asking questions for which there are no answers or there are, but do not really want to voice them? Why is it so easy for people who do not hesitate to ask pertinent questions, who have their own opinion (possibly contrary to their opinions) are destroyed / erased / shut up? Where is respect, first of all, for oneself, that in this way they "accept" as guests those whom they themselves invite and attract, the unwanted of whom are then thrown out for themselves without unnecessary explanations. That's why it's getting quieter and quieter everywhere. Because you either be silent, or just open your mouth in order to admire and assent to the "powerful of this world." Because you are just "simple people and you should be silent and serve you, and you should only say what is allowed." Otherwise, you are subject to liquidation.

To be honest, it was not the fact that I was not invited that upset me. I was outraged by this attitude towards people, and I also really wanted to understand the current situation and just clarify the points of interest for myself. When something is not too clear and understandable to me, I always ask, especially since it is even “welcomed” by the “Questions and Answers” ​​section of the project, because such a discrepancy between rules and actions in fact had to be faced for the first time.

It is clear that neither the higher-ranking organizers above the "administration", nor Leps Grigory Viktorovich, most likely even think about how the selection of participants really is, and dialogues with them are carried out, and, in general, the process of holding the competition itself is carried out. Since they are presented with only those who were "lucky" to go through and follow exactly the "rules", which, as it turns out, do not exist in this competition, unfortunately. Perhaps someday there will come a time when either these records or similar ones will be reviewed by someone from the "higher" in the production center and measures will be taken that will have a positive impact on the prestige of the center and interest in it. In the meantime, it is extremely difficult to see a serious attitude towards it (which can be talked about if the participants do not even read the rules carefully and this does not bother the organizers), nor increased interest - this is easily read by the number of comments to posts, likes - activity in general.

Personally, it became interesting for me to participate in this competition only because the leader is Grigory Viktorovich and it was important for me that the recordings were listened to. I don't like contests !!! But, unfortunately, only by participating in such events can you get the right to be noticed and the "creative process" got a new life. And, in theory, I deserve this right! But why did I not deserve the right to find out by what right this right was taken away from me and who ??? I just wanted answers and that's it.

And, frankly, I am ready to get into a thousand more such Black Lists, rather than get into the Black List of myself and keep silent about such an attitude, actions and arbitrariness. Because it is a hundred times more difficult for me to go against myself than against many and many. Also, I can’t just come to terms with such an attitude towards the people who came to my defense. If people support me, then I am obliged to support them - it should be so, it is right! And for the same reason, I decided to tell, sharing, how things are on a young, "developing" project in reality.

I love their positive and promising slogan! "Above the stars - only the Highest Test." In my subjective opinion, there is still something higher than the Highest Test .. What exactly? And above the Highest Test - the highest misunderstanding of what is happening and indicated.
All participants who submitted applications deserve respect! These are creative people who present their material in the form in which they present it for themselves. And each of them creates something that already deserves attention! But not ridicule, mockery, contemptuous and dismissive attitude and glance, as well as the total destruction of those who notice any inconsistencies with reality!

Many of the participants would like to find out how it turns out that these rules work one by one on some, and work differently on others .... But, as we see ourselves, so far there are still more questions than answers ... And there is no one to ask them, and there is no one to get them from. And there will be "extra questions" - a ban. So, maybe the whole world is immediately sent to an emergency - and world domination is in the hands, chouzh? Who doesn't like it here?)))

Therefore, friends !!! If you suddenly, nevertheless, decide to take part in the Highest Test - first, carefully study all the rules written in black and white, write them down on a piece of paper, burn them on New Year's Eve, dissolve in a glass and drink with champagne and forget about them safely - they are not there !!! As well as there is no orderliness, systematization and distribution in the organizational moment. Where there is chaos, there will be no prosperity ...

But not everything is so pessimistic !!! Who is supposed to be heard - will be heard - a matter of time! Therefore, friends, be sure to participate, achieve and only go forward to your goal, dream!

And I, in turn, spanking on the Black Lists, go further ... .. I go to move forward, in order to share with you what I saw and noted again, in order to prove myself, express my opinion and .... Again get into the next Emergencies due to the fact that the desire to become like the "taciturn" and to curry favor, endlessly assent, to admire the fact that it does not cause delight, stepping on the voice of one's own song, is absent. And I came to sing!) And this is my right and my way))

Apparently, the absolute honesty of the "Highest Test" competition and its originality - the contestants perform only their own material - attracted the attention of not only novice musicians, but also established artists to it. Among those who supported the idea of ​​the Producer Center of Grigory Leps were Emin, Anita Tsoi, Sogdiana, Alexey Vorobyov, the Pizza group, Alexey Chumakov, Nyusha, Denis Maidanov, the VIA GRA and MBand groups, Avraam Russo, Anna Sedokova, Dominik Joker, Petr Dranga, Oleg Miami, Dmitry Pevtsov, Stas Kostyushkin, Denis Klyaver, Natasha Koroleva, the Degrees group - in a word, the entire domestic show business!

Every Friday at the restaurant Rose bar a musical battle is taking place - two performers dreaming of recognition and national glory are fighting for the next round. The main prize of this season is the opportunity to shoot a video for the debut song at the expense of the production center (there is also a Grand Prix - a contract for work. But the organizers of the competition still reserve the right not to award the Grand Prix).

How everything happens: the artists perform three compositions. By the way, covers are also allowed. The main thing is to hook the audience in the hall and on the other side of the screen, the jury from the production center (permanent representatives of the Production center of Grigory Leps, invited show business professionals - sound producers, sound engineers, musicians, journalists, representatives of radio stations and TV) and a jury consisting of students of production faculties of Moscow universities: GITIS, Moscow Art Theater, VGIK, the Gnessin Academy and MGIK. Voting in the Rose Bar goes like this: before the start of the show, each guest of the restaurant was awarded a small badge. The performers themselves walk around the hall with large vases in their hands, and the audience lowers tokens there. When all the badges are handed out, the jury of the Production Center of Grigory Leps and the jury of universities vote. Each member of the jury has five plates with numbers from one to five. You just need to lift up the sign with the mark that you want to give to the performer. Personally, my sympathies were with the Botanical Garden, so they got a confident five, and Ole was a solid four.

When the project leader Vitaly Voronov I asked the jury to explain their decision, it became a little scary - the whole audience is looking at you, and you are trying to formulate why you gave the highest mark to the already formed team, and underestimated the very young girl. But you need to pull yourself together and not back down: in my opinion, Olya then lacked a spark, a kind of passion that an artist simply must have, because otherwise why would he perform on stage. Of course, she just needs to grow up and speed up, so I'm sure we'll soon hear about this cute girl. According to the voting results, the Botanical Garden group won - they went to the next round. By the way, they have every chance of winning this season. I will definitely follow their work and I advise you.

However, the counting of votes and discussion of the performances of the contestants this time turned out to be very hot. The performance of Rodion himself, within the framework of which he performed his hits "Gravity" and "Summer", as well as a very fresh track "Chance", in which demonstrated the abyss separating novice musicians and real pros. By the way, very soon Rodion Gazmanov plans to shoot a video for the song "Chance", and in the fall he plans to release an album and give a full-fledged solo concert.

It remains to add that the last edition of the "Highest Test" competition was dedicated to the birthday of Grigory Leps,
and therefore the evening began and ended with his song "The Best Day", which was performed together by the artist of the HRC Grigory Leps Niko Neman and Rodion Gazmanov, the hosts and the contestants. And the most original was the congratulation from the group Alter e .g .o., Whose members at the end of their performance put on T-shirts with letters that made up the words: "Happy LEPS day!"

This week it will become clear which of the participants of the third division will take the stage in its final on July 22: not only the voices of the audience will be taken into account, but also the most important voice - Grigory Leps, who constantly monitors what is happening at the competition.
