Easter baskets made of felt. Simple DIY felt basket Pattern for felt baskets

Good afternoon everyone. In our city, winter still does not want to leave, and the weather does not indulge in warmth and gentle spring sun. And how are things with you in the spring ?! After all, Easter is very soon and I really want the snow to melt and the willows to bloom.

And since I started talking about this holiday, then you guess you guessed that it will be about preparing for this bright event. Most likely, you already know how to paint everything, we also analyzed the topic, and even this year you will bake yourself, and not buy)) So what else can you talk about ?? But what is it about !! Today we are going to make very beautiful baskets with you, they can serve as a decoration for the table, and as a kind of coasters for dyes.

As always, I looked through what the Internet offers us, and selected for you best works v different techniques executions and made from a variety of materials. So get ready, it will be interesting.

And we will start with a difficult master class prepared by Marina Ilyina. I must say right away that work is within the power of an adult or for someone who is already well versed in the technique of weaving from tubes. I suggest you make a very elegant chicken-shaped basket. Such work would be very appropriate as a gift.

You will need: newsprint, glue stick (or PVA), scissors, knitting needles, loofah, water, stain, rope, braid, cardboard, wire.

Work process:

1. Take newspaper, clean. We will make tubes out of it. Cut the newspaper into A3 sheets, and cut lengthwise into four strips. The width of the strip should be 7.5 cm. Using a needle of 1.5 mm, wind the tubes very tightly so that they turn out to be the same thickness along the entire length. Glue the tubes with glue.

2. Then paint the prepared tubules with colorless impregnation of loofah + water + stain. Dufa about 3 tbsp. spoons for half a liter of water with a stain.

3. Now do the following:

  • braid four pairs of tubes with a simple rope;
  • build up a working tube;
  • if the tube is thick, then make a dent with your fingernail and fold the tube, then put on a new one;
  • the connection must be hidden under the working tube.

4. Take a thick knitting needle and move the struts out to the sides. Rope each upright. Next, weave the bottom to the desired size and take the desired shape.

5. Take a cotton tape and tie the shape to the braid so it won't slip. Next, weave several rows with a string, and then one row with a string of three tubes. And to form an even gap, we use a simple device - cardboard boxes, which are fastened with a stapler, of the required height, put them on the racks.

For further weaving, you should have a fairly large distance between the posts, so add posts in each gap by simply inserting them between the weave and the shape, then just cut them off.

6. Weave a string of three tubes, placing them at the beginning of the row behind the uprights. And finish the row to the end. When you have one unbraided rack left, take the nearest working tube, weave in front of two, behind the third. And then weave the second one from us, too.

8. You must complete a row, and then make an inconspicuous transition to the next, just like in a string of three. It turns out that when you have one unbraided rack left, take the working tube closest to you, and then the second.

In the second row, do the same. Add another working tube and weave a string of three. Before that, pull out the shape and weave a row, tightening the shape a little to give it a rounded shape. To do this, point the stands slightly inward.

9. The row must be finished without changing anything. Next, we will fill the tubes. So, fill the farthest from you under the first working tube from which the row began. Then fill the second one from you already under two tubes at the beginning of the row. And the one that was closest to you should stay in place.

10. Now glue and cut carefully. Remove the ponytail from the inside out. Glue and cut again. Tuck the ponytails from the first string of three.

12. Glue and trim everything so that all the ends are hidden behind the braiding. Now take the wire, we will weave the breast and head. Take 9 racks, cut 4 racks through one. Remains 5. In the extreme and middle insert the wire.

13. You need to weave with one working tube, gluing it at the beginning of the row. Use chintz weave. Then weave to the taper, and when the distance between the uprights is minimal, weave the middle three tubes together.

Now weave on three racks. If the racks run out, build them up, while cutting the racks obliquely for further build-up.

14. After a few rows, cut off the extra two uprights in the middle. Braid a narrow head-neck. Cover this neck with glue and twist tightly and secure with something to dry. Then go to the handle. So, after the breast, cut through one 4 racks.

15. We will weave the handle on three racks. Cut the wire to the full length of the handle and insert it into the posts. Slide the tubes over the wire, thus building up the base for the handle. Braid the handle according to the photo below.

16. Weave a handle of the desired length and coat the posts with glue very well, then drag the posts into place from the opposite side so that the posts from the bowl remain inside out, then cut them off. Drag the handle to all four rows, and trim off the excess from below.

Also braid the ponytail. Each feather should be on three racks, into which also insert the wire.

17. Remove the cartons from the gap and cut the racks that were substituted in the gaps. Add elegance to the chicken.

18. Make quilling strips. Paint them with a brush, let them dry a little, and then screw them onto a thick knitting needle (3 mm). Twist into any patterns and fill in empty spaces, glue the beak and comb.

And here are some other wonderful chickens you can weave:

And in this version, an apple is also made, such a kind of casket.

Isn't that indescribable beauty! Those who have been familiar with this technique for a long time will cope with such weaving with a bang.

Master class on making baskets with hares

Now I want to propose to you to make an original basket with Easter bunnies from fabric. And I present to your attention a step-by-step manufacturing process.

You will need: cloth different colors, template, threads, scissors, cardboard, PVA glue, synthetic winterizer, pencil, acrylic paints, brush, ribbons.

Work process:

1. Save and print the template.

2. On the share, you need to cut out 4 strips:

  • 2 details for the top of our bunnies (10x73 cm);
  • 2 details for the bottom (7x73 cm);
  • 2 parts for the basket handle: 5 × 55 cm (from the "inner" and "outer" fabric).

Allowances for these parts are already included and are 0.5 cm.

3. Take a piece of cardboard and cut out a circle with a diameter of 19 cm. This will be the bottom. Lay it on the "outer" fabric, circle and cut with an allowance of about 2.5 cm. The edge does not have to be straight. And then put it on the “inner” fabric, circle and cut with an allowance of about 1 cm.

4. Glue the synthetic winterizer to the cardboard mug on all sides, put it under the press. And after drying, cut off the excess synthetic winterizer, leaving about 0.3 cm.

5. Now grind down the details of the top of the bunnies with the details of the bottom. Allowance 0.5 cm. Smooth the seam.

6. Circle along the pattern of the hares, 2 mm apart from each other. There should be 10 animals in total. At the same time, draw the "barrel" for the first and last, and only the heads for the rest. Up to the seam line.

7. Sew the heads along the lines you have drawn. And with curly scissors, cut off the excess fabric close to the line. In the right places, namely between the ears, between the bunnies and in the places where the ears go to the head, leave notches.

8. Iron everything. Place vertical stitches between the animals: from the horizontal seam to the bottom edge. And with a simple pencil, outline the future nose. Use acrylic paints to paint the eyes and nose. Tie the knots on the ears with regular thread.

9. Cheeks can be painted with regular shadows or blush. Fill the figures tightly with padding polyester. Stitch along the bottom edge, overcast the edge.

10. Decorate the top seam with a ribbon, tape or lace.

11. Using a blind seam, join our rabbits in a circle.

12. Now let's finish the bottom. Take a circle with a large diameter and basting stitches close to the edge, and at the circle made of the "inner" fabric, fold in the allowance and fix.

13. On a circle made of "outer" fabric, put a cardboard-sintepon blank and pull off the thread. Carefully tuck a synthetic winterizer inside, trying to stay free.

14. Overlay the inner circle and sew with blind stitches.

15. Sew the hares with blind stitches to the bottom.

16. Here's what you should get.

17. Now we will sew the handles. Take the strips you made for the pens. Fold them in half lengthways and sew 0.5 cm from the edge. At the same time, sew one short cut on both strips.

18. Turn and fill them with filler, and then sew together, weaving a pigtail. Tuck the ends inward and sew. Attach the finished handle to the basket.

19. Tie satin ribbon bows on the ears and handle.

3. Cut off unnecessary plastic.

4. Take a piece of packing tape of the correct length for the handle. Decorate it with braid using a glue gun.

Felt is one of the most popular materials today - it is a fleecy material made from felted wool. Typically, this material is sold in layers of various sizes and thicknesses. Textured, dense, non-crumbling material offers dozens of color solutions for our ideas.

Felt can be called a universal material for needlewomen of any age - do felt crafts loved by both adults and children. Crafts made from it are simple to perform, very bright and pleasant to the touch.

So, as Valentine's Day is approaching, I propose to do basket of felt decorated with hearts... School-age children can easily cope with this craft.

To do Valentine's Day felt gift basket You will need:

  • felt 2-3 mm thick (1 sheet of A4 format - red, 2 colors of pink),
  • needle,
  • threads (main or contrasting color),
  • paper,
  • ruler,
  • pencil,
  • scissors,
  • glue gun (optional).

First, it is better to draw the template on paper, since I had A4 felt sheets, it was very convenient.

After the paper template is ready, cut it out.

We pin the template to a sheet of felt with tailor's pins or simple needles and cut it out.

We cut off the excess, but do not throw it away: it will still come in handy.

It should look like on a paper blank. Four folding ears and a square in the middle.

Now we proceed to the "assembly". Sew the adjacent sides. I took threads of a contrasting color, it seems to me that it looks more interesting. Everything here, of course, depends on your desire.

Stitch the handle with a similar seam - two equal long strips of felt of the same color.

We sew the handle to the basket.

So bright basket of felt doesn't even require decoration. But since the day of all lovers is approaching, we will decorate it with multi-colored felt hearts.

Cut out hearts different sizes, glue them or sew them the way you want.

Here is such a cute little basket! And you can put anything in it.

Create with pleasure!

These wonderful felt baskets come in handy on Easter day for serving up Easter eggs beautifully, and then you can use them to store various items or small items, or for children's games.

You will need thick felt of different colors and try to make one of the baskets with your own hands, inspired by the photos below:

This is done easter craft very simple, literally from scrap materials. The kids will take an active part in the work, because there is also an application here. So you will have a useful and interesting time together!

You will need:

Colorful paper

Thick cardboard(any old cardboard box will do)

Napkins

Silk fabric

Making a basket

We cut out an oval from cardboard (the size can be any - it depends on the size of the basket that you want to get as a result). We also cut out 4 sides with a height of about 12-15 cm.

From all the cut out parts, we fold just such a mold, gluing it together. To keep it well, we strengthen it with clothespins, leave it to dry.

We cut out a strip of cardboard for the handle of the required length, we also glue it. It looks like this.

We dilute the glue in water, moisten the napkins in it, glue the workpiece. Similar to the decoupage technique. We leave to dry.

Now we take multi-colored paper. We begin to cut the grass, fence and flowers. This is where the help of the kids is needed, who will gladly take up such a task.

Flowers can consist of several details, the main thing is that they are bright, spring!

We decorate the basket. We glue the fences on the sides. We put silk fabric in the middle. We glue the handle. We place the "grass". In conclusion, we glue the flowers anywhere - on the sides of the basket, on the handle, on the grass. We leave to dry.

Here is what a beauty it turned out! How to fill it? You decide. These can be dyed eggs, Easter bunnies, rabbits, chocolate eggs, and so on. And such an Easter basket is a great interior decoration for the Easter holidays! Not to mention, it's nice to receive it as a gift!

I would like to suggest that you sew a pretty basket with your own hands. I named the basket Easter, as one of the baskets below has a bunny applique. And so ... it is not at all necessary to sew a felt basket for the holiday of Bright Easter, it can be useful to all needlewomen for storing balls of yarn, threads, lace, other little things for needlework and creativity, as well as an organizer for children's toys.

To create a basket we need:

  • colored decorative felt - green + dark green, blue + dark blue or lilac + dark lilac,
  • felt or white felt and yellow color,
  • scissors,
  • threads with a needle,
  • black round beads or two beads,
  • dry blush,
  • cotton swab,
  • large buttons - 2 pieces,
  • hot glue gun.

Let's get to work. This basket has an applique for a bear's head, which we will cut out of felt white... Determine the size of the template yourself, it depends on the size of your basket.

The basket consists of four parts - two rectangles and two felt circles of the same color, but different shades. The rectangle for the outer rim of the basket is sewn together, and the rest of the parts are glued together with hot glue.

To create a handle from felt of two different shades, two strips with rounded edges are cut out, which are glued together with hot glue. The finished handle is attached to the felt basket with large sewn-on buttons.

Felt is a good material for needlework, because it is strong enough and keeps its shape well. That is why you can make felt cups or even just such an elegant basket. It is useful for storing sweets, any household stuff, and even for decorating pots with a houseplant. In addition, this delicate product can be made a stand for Easter cake, from which festive table will look even nicer. Read about how to make a felt basket in this master class!

The best thing is to make it from material of purple or lilac flowers, because we will decorate it with flowers " pansies»The same tones. The combination can be like this: burgundy basket + pink flowers.

To make a basket you will need: hard felt in the desired color, scissors, hole punch, decorative rope or ribbon, two clear beads, beads (yellow and black), organza for flowers, thread and a needle, and a sharp bar of soap or washable fabric marker.

DIY felt basket: description
A large circle needs to be cut out of felt. Its size will depend on your wishes about the dimensions of the finished basket.

For example, the diameter of a circle will be 44 cm. We cut out a circle, trying to make its edges even.

We draw a line 8 cm long from the edge of the circle towards the center. Mark it with a marker.

After a few centimeters, we make another such line along the edge. Please note that the lines do not have to be parallel, as they go from the edge to the center point of the circle. We make the same lines around the entire perimeter of the circle. We make cuts with scissors.

With a hole punch we make two holes from the edge of each "petal". A decorative rope will then have to crawl through these holes, so you need to calculate their diameter.

These are the holes you should get around the circle:

The circle should have an even number of petals, because we will collect them together after one.

We put the rope through, as shown in the photo. We tighten it and get a voluminous basket. If you look at the product, it may seem that the rope is threaded only through the outer "petals" of the basket. But this is not the case: for better fixation, sub-sets and internal elements. After tying the rope with a beautiful bow, you can put two transparent beads on its ends.

Then we make flowers from fabric (from satin or organza), decorate them with bead centers and sew to the outer parts of the basket.

An excellent felt basket is ready! It should turn out neat even for a beginner in needlework, because the edges of the felt are not tousled and do not need additional processing. Instead of flowers, the product can be decorated with ribbon bows, beads or rhinestones.

The long-awaited holiday is approaching - Easter, and it's time to start preparing gifts for your loved ones and friends. And the most best gift Is a gift that we will make ourselves, putting all our love into it. And I suggest you make an Easter basket out of felt. It will be a great gift on Easter Day if you fill it with colored eggs and sweets.

Felt is a versatile material that is a pleasure to work with: rhinestones do not crumble from it, and it is very easy to sew and cut. Therefore, felt today is often used for creative work - covers for gadgets, various toys are sewn from it, coasters for hot dishes are made, and even baskets are made.

DIY felt baskets, patterns of which can be found on the net, are often decorated with butterflies, flowers, hearts. Such a product can serve as an organizer for storing handicrafts, toys and things, and it can also be used as easter basket- you can put Easter eggs and Easter cakes in it. Let's look at some ideas on how to make such a basket.

Beautiful basket made of felt

To make a beautiful felt basket, you will need the following:

  1. Felt (light brown or straw color).
  2. Threads are one tone darker than felt.
  3. Multicolored felt elements for decoration.
  4. Scissors.
  5. Cardboard.
  6. Silicone glue.

Sequencing:

  • For the base and the top of the product, cut out two ovals of the same size from cardboard and twelve cardboard strips, the width of which is 2 cm and the length is 20 cm.
  • Bending the 1-inch edge of the felt inward, stitch it to the cardboard blank.
  • Now you need to prepare felt strips, which in the future will imitate the intertwined rods of the basket. Cut twelve of them - they will be twice the length you chose for the cardboard templates.
  • Sew each strip, folded in half, right side in. At the end of the work, turn the strips outward, insert a cardboard blank into each of them, leaving in sight the tip of 1.5 cm, which needs to be bent.
  • Spread the strips processed with decorative stitching evenly along the diameter for the future basket of felt with your own hands.
  • Apply silicone glue to the cardboard edge of each strip, by means of which the strips must be firmly fixed to the lower base. Then, with silicone glue, grease the edge of the second oval bottom blank, which you place on top of the first. Press firmly and join them together.
  • After completing the work with the frame, proceed to the manufacture of transverse stripes for weaving. To this end, cut out three strips of your choice of width, and the length will correspond to the diameter of the bottom of the basket.
  • Having folded each of the strips in half lengthwise, sew them, turning them out, sew them with a decorative stitch.
  • Braid one of the stripes near the bottom of the basket, one in the upper part of it, and one in the center.

Important! It is better to fix transverse and longitudinal stripes at their joints with silicone glue.

  • The final step will be to decorate the felt basket with your own hands. To do this, cut out fantasy flowers or beautiful butterflies from felt patches and attach them with silicone glue in certain places of the body in a checkerboard pattern.

Important! Such an original and colorful felt basket can be filled with whatever you want: children's toys, necessary handicraft items, Easter paraphernalia.

Small felt basket

Let's look at another way to make a cute felt basket. To do this, you need the following:

  1. Felt (preferably a thicker piece).
  2. A centimeter or ruler.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Tailor's hole punch.
  5. Ribbons and flowers for decoration.
  6. Cord (you can tape or others.)
  7. Glue.

The sequence of actions on how to make felt baskets with your own hands:

  • Start by tracing a round piece of chalk on a piece of felt (a large plate can be used as a stencil).
  • Now along the entire circumference at the same distance, about 5 cm from each other, use a ruler to set aside 8 cm chalk segments.

Important! This parameter can also be changed, thereby adjusting the depth of the future basket.

  • Use scissors to make even cuts along the deferred lines.
  • Then, from both edges of each segment at a height of about 1 cm, it is necessary to make punctures for the lace using a hole punch or an awl.
  • Assemble the resulting structure on a cord, alternating segments, and pass the thread through all the holes. Pull the product to the required size.
  • At the end, it remains to glue the decor, for example, flowers from ribbons or butterflies, which must be prepared in advance.

Important! Crochet strapping looks very nice.
