How to sew a toy Witch.

We fold the fabric for the body in half, circle the pattern with chalk or a pencil (not bright) and, without cutting, we sew along the contour. We iron. We cut out the parts, leaving an allowance of 4-5 mm.

We turn out the details. Handles - completely, body and legs to half (it will be easier to stuff and get better quality).

We fill the handles and the body completely, tightly. First, we stuff the legs to the knee line, manually sew the place of the fold and continue the stuffing above the knee, but not so tightly. Sew up the holes on the handles with a blind seam.

We bend the slices of the carcass inward by 10 mm, insert the legs, pin them with pins. Sew on the legs with a blind or stitch seam. Close the seam with lace, fasten with stitches at the bottom and top. We get the panties.

Fold the fabric in half and cut out the bodice and half-sun skirt. The length of the skirt is 18 cm. Cut out with an allowance of 5 mm.

Sewing the bodice details, overstitching the cuts and ironing them. We fold the upper cut to the wrong side and overcast with a "zigzag".

Sew lace along the upper edge of the bodice from the inside out, collecting it in folds. We get a lace collar. We turn it out.

Let's start sewing a skirt. We fold the lower cut by 5 mm and overcast with a "zigzag".

To finish the bottom, we cut out a strip of tulle W-6 cm, D-5 m.At a distance of 1 cm from the edge, we lay a line for assembly, weakening the upper thread. We tighten the tulle to the length of the lower cut of the skirt.

We put tulle on the wrong side of the skirt at a distance of 2 cm from the bottom cut and grind it along the assembly line.

We sew lace on the front side, closing the tulle stitching line. We lay small folds so that the lace in finished product did not bend up.

We fold the part of the skirt with the front side inward and grind down shsh - 5 mm, overcast the cut and iron it. You do not need to grind the tulle section.

We put on the bodice on the doll, tie a bow from satin ribbon, thereby securing the bodice to the doll. We melt the edges of the tape.

We put the skirt on the doll, combining the middle seam of the skirt with the seam on the doll's body. Sew the skirt in a circle directly to the carcass, the stitch length is small, 3 mm.

For sewing a jacket, fold the corduroy with the right side inward. We circle the pattern. We outline the arm a little wider (but not much) for a snug fit, we get the details of the sleeves.

We sew along the outlined lines. At the same time, we sew the jacket in a circle without leaving a hole. Iron on and cut out the parts, leaving 5 mm allowances. Cut the corners of the jacket obliquely to 2 mm.

On one side of the jacket we make a small incision through which we turn the part onto the front side and press it on.

Turn the sleeve detail onto the front side. Use a barbecue stick to pierce the hand at the top. Now we put our hand together with the wand into the sleeve. The sleeve is narrow, but it is not difficult to do it with a stick.

We fold the cut of the sleeve inward and fix it blind stitch... We put the jacket on the doll and fasten it with pins. We try on the hands, determine the location, fix them with pins. We sew our hands through with a double thread, you can also use a button fastening.

Hat. For sewing you need details: fields and a cap. The diameter of the circle for the fields is 5 cm, the inner circle is 2.5 cm. We cut out one piece of the cap from corduroy, and for the fields we fold the corduroy with the finishing fabric for the legs.

Sewing the detail of the brim of the hat along the outer circle. Cut out the inner one. We turn the detail of the brim of the hat onto the front side and press it on. We grind the cap (seam width - 5 mm), turn it out.

We put the cap in the ring, sew it by hand. At the same time, we squeeze the fields a little so that they are wavy. We lay a line along the seam of the cap, tighten it a little and fasten it.

We decorate the finished hat with a ribbon, attach a metal bell. Trying on a hat. Draw the eyes with a toothpick and acrylic paint or embroider a French knot with floss.

We make curls. We need some wool for felting. We tear off the strands, moisten with water, wrap on skewers, soak with hair foam and dry.

For several strands, we wind only the ends, we do not touch the middle. These are the strands for the crown. Here's a set of curls for a hairstyle turned out.

We tear off a piece of wool and take a needle for felting. We wrap a piece of wool around the doll's head and roll it over. This is necessary so that there is no bald spot between the curls.

Take the curls for the crown and roll them with a felting needle. Raise the top of the head and roll the curls along the second tier, achieving the desired density.

Finally, we form the hairstyle. Sew on the hat or carefully glue it to the hair with hot glue.

Witches? Start by determining the desired wire length. First, we measure the head. With such a volume, we cut off the wire and make a small circle with which we will fasten the fields and crown. Now draw the same circle on cardboard, add the width required for the fields to its radius and draw a second, already large, circle. We measure its length and cut the wire into a large circle. The wire is needed for support, cardboard - for the cap itself (it will be necessary to cover it with a cloth). Next, the witch's hat is done like this: we determine the height and calculate the cone, then from the corner of the cardboard we set aside the calculated height of the crown, draw an arc. The cone is ready. Cut out the wire circles and solder them.

The witch hat pattern is ready. We transfer it to the prepared fabric, leaving, of course, allowances. For the margins, we cut out 2 parts, for the crown - one. We sew the last one along the cuts so that we get a cap. Now we bend its bottom edge, put a small wire circle in its fold, with inside we hem the crown. Try to do everything neatly to make the product look sleeker. The next step is to starch the crown, all but the tip (the tip may hang down). If you want the whole witch's hat to be tough, then we do not leave the tip.

Fields

We put the cut fields together so that the front side is inside, and we sew them along the outer circle (you can sew it by hand, but it takes longer), then turn it out and gently iron it. Now we take a large circle of cardboard and put it in the fabric. The resulting folds on a small cut must be unscrewed so that they can be sewn into a ready-made crown. We sew everything, before this glue or paste, having missed the hem of the fields and crown. By the way, the margins of the headgear can be made not hard, with cardboard, but soft (in some pictures, such hats are also found among witches).

Completion of work

Our witch hat is almost ready, all that remains is to decorate it. To do this, we sew a prepared ribbon on the crown at the very fields (ideally a black satin), and attach a bright buckle to it. An alternative option is to take a bunch of twigs and small pumpkins instead of a buckle. You can attach pieces of black tulle to the edges of the fields, sew a little black shiny beads... Now that we figured out how to make a witch's hat and sewn it, we can safely go to the holiday.

This effect can be achieved in several ways. The first and simplest one is to fill it a little with padding polyester, but then it will only take on this position. Therefore, it is better to make the cap on the frame, or, alternatively, thoroughly starch the fabric before transferring the pattern to it.

The witch's second hand is raised and covers her mouth, or rather, his absence. And it is not clear whether she is grinning, or, on the contrary, she is ashamed of her reputation.
