So, let's decorate the table for the New Year with our own hands

New Year's table decoration

Idea package # 1

"New Year on a plate"

All serving consists primarily of plates and cutlery. Usually the plates are wasted. And all the New Year's beauty is located around them (candles, napkins, figures of New Year's characters). Let's do it differently. Let's fill the guests' plates with New Year's decoration. Small presents - cute symbols that decorate this holiday.

In the photo below, we see how ordinary pine cones have turned into a cute New Year's boutonniere to decorate each plate on the New Year's table.

The bump can be dyed from a spray can gold or other paint (spray cans are sold in hardware stores or auto stores). Or the bump can be painted, dipping it in a glass of pva glue, diluted with color gouache. So the cone will be evenly colored both outside and inside, under the scales.

And you can only bump PRIME with gouache, dip a foam sponge in gouache and poke it into the lump. Only the edges of the scales will be colored (you get the effect of an aged retro painting). Such a cone will look good paired with other retro elements (dried only orange, cinnamon sticks, an asterisk cut from cardboard and a napkin). Of course, you need to understand that the color of the painting is chosen according to the tint palette of the general New Year's table setting.

Or you can put 2-3 Christmas tree decorations on a plate. Nearby place a napkin tied with a colored ribbon, a golden bag with cookies in the form of stars or angels.

You can wrap Christmas tree toys in a bag made of a bright colored paper napkin, tie it with a ribbon, slipping a coniferous twig under the eyeballs.

Or you can simply not throw away the lower branches-paws cut from the Christmas tree, but cut them into small fluffy paws, decorate them with a large crystal bead and tie them with a ribbon. If there are no beads, then you can make a voluminous paper snowflake (of a miniature delicate shape) with your own hands, or crochet it, add a ribbon, a piece of a picture cut from a New Year's card - and a beautiful coniferous decoration for the New Year's table is ready. Cheap, fast and original-beautiful for your guests.

If you do not have coniferous legs from the tree, find an evergreen fir in the city, and break off the branches from it. Combine them with a picture from a postcard, or with a New Year's candy - and you get an original decoration for the table for the New Year.

Idea package # 2

"Coniferous greens + candles"

Using coniferous legs (spruce or pine) is the most natural way to create a New Year's feast atmosphere. Live green needles smell like a holiday, heated by the heat emanating from the candles, the needles will exude a forest spruce scent. And in addition to the volume, this is a conditionally free material for decorating the New Year's table - I just drove into the forest and cut it with a knife there and there, without causing damage to nature, I just thinned out the Christmas trees.

Candles can also be interestingly arranged inside these coniferous legs. Melt small glasses, put candles-tablets in them. Or take an ordinary round log (small diameter) and cut a hole in it - wielding a drill and a knife. Insert a tablet candle into this recess too.

Next to the coniferous legs, you can lay out Christmas-tree shiny balls - you get the effect of a Christmas tree right on the table. This is the most successful decoration for the table, which you do not plan to clutter up with snacks, since you have planned a change of dishes, which will be brought up by specially hired staff.

Well, if you cannot force the whole table with such a wide coniferous-herringbone path, then for you there are decorations with spruce legs that are less overall in terms of area. You can decorate the New Year's table with small (plate-sized) candle compositions. In the photo below, we can see that an inverted glass can be an excellent stand for thick candles. Coniferous spruce legs will serve as a decoration for such a New Year's candlestick.

You can make a table wreath from coniferous branches and cones for the New Year's table, as in the photo below. Such a composition will not take up much space on the table - and it will not hurt to arrange salad bowls and cold cuts around such an installation with candles.

Idea package # 3

"Serving cones"

Plain pine, spruce, or cedar cones can be a key decoration for your New Year's table. Large cedar cones can be placed upside down inside the container - and we get the shape of a herringbone (in the photo below on the left). You can hang the cones at the corners of the table, or along the edges of the plate. But you need to make sure that they do not interfere with the guests, do not hang too low, clinging to the tights of the invited ladies.

From large cones, you can make green table Christmas trees and place them here and there between plates of snacks (right photo below). Or, from a bunch of small pine cones, you can glue a fluffy volumetric Christmas tree. It's simple enough. We make a cone from thick paper (A3 format), and glue this cone with cones on thermal glue. The cones can be pre-painted with gouache, using a foam rubber sponge for washing dishes.

You can arrange the buds in serving vases, or right there on the table, alternating with fresh straw or bits of forest moss. You will get the decoration of the New Year's table in a trendy eco-style.

If you paint the cones with gouache, you can turn them into an elegant decoration for the festive table. We mix pva glue with gouache - there is less gouache, and in this slurry we sink the cone, take it out and hang it by a thread) we get an evenly colored cone.

New Year's table decoration

Idea package # 4

"Crafts from paper and felt"

Simple silhouettes cut out of cardboard can be small but important serving items. New Year's outlines of a deer, snowman, Christmas paper angel can completely change your New Year's table. They can decorate a glass (photo below).

Deer bust cardboard silhouette can be stuck in a chocolate bar Bount and, put 2 ice cream sticks below, - and we get an original craft for decorating the New Year's table. Or, for example, a white marshmallow can turn into an iceberg where you can stick a cardboard penguin. Your imagination can continue to generate ideas from sweets and cardboard to decorate the table for the New Year 2018.

You can also cut and fold small volumetric Christmas trees from paper with your own hands. For example, the trees with the photo below are made of just two pieces of cardboard, and even a child of 4 years old can cut, incise and insert such a Christmas tree into each other crosswise.

And below there are Christmas trees made of round paper silhouettes. We have a training article on our website where you will find detailed instructions on how to assemble these paper trees, and not only such

And you can also cut out such slots from white cardboard for inserting napkins. Insert the triangular tip of the folded napkin into the slot and get the image of Santa Claus. The napkin protruding from the napkin mimics his hat, while the bottom of the napkin looks like his red robe.

Also, from soft felt (or thick cardboard, it doesn't matter) you can make such pockets for cutlery. These crafts will decorate your New Year's table.

Even the simplest shapes cut out of felt (or a layered paper napkin) can set a New Year's mood for a festive table. Below we see how a small slot in the silhouette of a FIR-TREE or STAR makes it possible to insert cutlery or a paper napkin into it.

You can also sew (or glue) a napkin ring out of soft felt. Also a simple solution for decorating the New Year's table in an original way.

And you can also cut out small silhouettes of Christmas trees from felt and wrap them around a glass - you get candlesticks as in the photo below (a round dance of Christmas trees around the glass). And besides, from the cotton napkin itself, you can fold a New Year's star, or a red New Year's flower. Detailed instructions for origami from table napkins for the New Year I'll post it in a separate article a little later, and then the link will work here.

New Year's table setting

"Red + green"

The classic color combination of the New Year's palette is red and green. Green is the color of the Christmas tree, and red is the color of Santa Claus and his gift bag.

You can create a green and red New Year table setting by combining green and red crockery. Or red dishes + green napkins and green decorations (Christmas tree decorations, beads, etc.).

Here's an idea for a floating candle made in the same luscious New Year's color scheme - green twigs and red cranberries.

New Year's table decor

"Red + white"

Usually we don't have red dishes in our house, more often we buy white plates. And then we can combine the white color of the dishes with the red color of other paraphernalia - napkins, candles, Christmas balls.

On the table, you can scatter red beads (of course, provided that there are no small children in the house who want to shove them in their noses or ears). In this case, it will be better to scatter snowflakes and stars cut from red paper over the white tablecloth.

You can modify a bored white tablecloth with a pleasant addition, buy a piece of red cloth in a fabric store, and trim the edges on a typewriter (so that they don't get frizzy). Place the red canvas in the center along the table. On a red background, we scatter snowflakes and stars cut out of white paper. Some of the paper silhouettes can be sewn with threads (small stitches) to the canvas itself. So that even hanging from the edge of the table, the red canvas would hold this New Year's pattern on it).

You can buy red felt pads for white plates (like in the photo below). Or make such felt coasters with your own hands. In stores, felt is just sold in squares of 30x30 cm, it remains only to pick up a hole punch (a regular office one) and stamp openwork pattern holes along the red felt squares. You can cut out felt in the form of a circle or a heart with scissors (as in the photo below).

And you can also act in a very original way and make the setting of the New Year's table in the form of snowmen. We go to the store or the market and buy the same rectangular plastic napkins there (they cost mere pennies). If you want even cheaper, you can buy a roll of wrapping paper for wrapping gifts and cut in such rectangular napkins (with a wavy edge) from it. Or even more budgetary - the remains of expensive embossed wallpaper with a textured white pattern can also be used as a source of hand-made napkins.

Next - we will need two plates of different diameters. It will be a snowman. Olives and a slice of orange pepper will become the nose, eyes and buttons. We make a scarf from a red napkin, a bucket hat from black paper.

How to decorate a table for the New Year

"Red and gold table setting"

If you want to celebrate this holiday on a chic scale, then the combination of the energy of fire and the energy of gold will help you feel the real luxury of the holiday.

The glare of the garland reflected in the golden sides of the Christmas tree balls on the table will create the feeling of fireworks. Gold sparks of champagne, red gold-plated bumps, shiny gold ribbons on napkins, gold chocolate coins scattered on a red tablecloth - and other red and gold ideas that can only come to your mind.

You can order on the site of the Fair of Masters designer napkin rings, to those craftsmen who quickly weave from beads. From a gold bead, gold ribbons, you can make many interesting attributes for decorating the New Year's table.

You yourself can do an interesting thing with your own hands to decorate the table setting. Below in the photo you see a scattering of green and red beads. We buy thin wire (copper or special for handicrafts) and buy a string of red beads and a string of gold beads (it does not matter for Christmas tree or jewelry). Next, we string them on a wire, and twist them in different directions (forming branches of the most different shapes).

You can lose such a wire with beads among the spruce branches laid out on the festive table, mix with large Christmas balls, bright ribbons.

New Year's setting

"Gingerbread Tale"

And here is an interesting idea on how to decorate the table with New Year's pastries. You can bake curly cookies, decorated with icing and decorate with them a New Year's coniferous garland on the table.

Gingerbread cookies can be combined with other elements of New Year's table decoration, candles, Christmas balls and toys, figurines, garlands, beads and glittering tinsel.

You can bake several (or one) gingerbread houses - and make them a key decoration on the New Year's table. It's actually very easy to make a gingerbread house.... We simply roll out the gingerbread dough into a single layer on the cardboard. Then we cut out the outlines of the walls on the dough - two front walls + two side walls + two halves of the roof. And that's all. We put these details on a baking sheet directly on a sheet of cardboard and bake. Next, cool the finished biscuits and glue them into a house. We make glue from caramel (melt the caramels in a saucepan) or we make (cream from proteins and powdered sugar) - it also glues perfectly. And when the house is glued together, it is a pleasure to decorate it with pieces of marmalades, chocolates, marshmallows, sugar dragees and other sweet decor. You can find out more about the recipe for durable gingerbread dough and pastry sweet glue from any article on gingerbread houses.

You can bake less complex designs from gingerbread dough - for example, an edible candlestick (pictured below on the right by the glass). Cut out a circle the size of a saucer from the dough (rolled out on a baking mat), cut a hole inside with a glass. Place the cut out cookie figures next to it. We bake all the parts. Insert a tablet candle into the circle into the hole, cut holes on the side with a knife where we insert gingerbread cookies. And our gingerbread candlestick for decorating the New Year's table is ready.

New Year's setting

"Frosty breath"

Also, your white dishes can become a participant in another serving setting. You can become the director of a winter frosty tale. Gather on the table blue and silver details, glass transparent ice, gray beads of glossy glass beads, decorative crystals and rhinestones of blue, cold-white transparent shades.

Place large long candles in tall glasses. Fill the space between the candle and the glass wall with beads, sparkles, artificial ice shards, which are easy to make with your own hands if the old CD is cut into small pieces with scissors. Or even a cheap version of the filler - to play a fluffy Christmas tree garland made of foil and cut its "fluffy fur" into small pieces with scissors and pour it into glasses with candles. Perhaps you yourself will come up with more options for filling the candlestick.

We also have an article on our site. There you will find options that you can embody in blue material and decorate your table with them.

Buy a can of silver paint at a hardware store (or auto store). On the street, cut off birch branches (you can with the remnants of leaves on them), cover the branches with silver paint. Beautifully lay the silver branches, as if frozen by the winter breath, on a wide dish next to put candles, lay out silver Christmas balls. And on the table to scatter beads in the form of crystals (cheap beads (in bulk in a large bag) can be bought at a craft store, or in stores “everything for beading.

The easiest way to decorate the New Year's table setting is to fold Christmas balls of blue and turquoise shades into a deep vase of transparent colorless glass, mixing them with a string of Christmas tree beads. Pour blue sparkling beads into cups (a little on the bottom) and immerse tablets in it with candles.

You can make a silver Christmas tree in the center of the New Year's table with your own hands. We just cut out a semicircle from thick paper. We roll it up into a cone, fastening the connection with a stapler. Next, we cut out a ribbon from silver paper (preferably a serrated shape) - or we buy silver lace, with a serrated or even shape. Now, starting from the top of the cone, we make a pasting-winding of this tape (from paper or from a store) around the cone - in a spiral - we wind the turns from top and down in a circle, helping the cleats to stick to the walls of the cone. It is better to use glue from their gun - special hot melt glue. A gun can be bought for $ 2 at any craft or hardware store (market) and glue sticks to it are generally a penny.

Table setting for the new year

"FROZEN TENDERNESS".

Early winter morning. Gentle frosty dawn. The play of the morning sun on the frozen window panes covered with a bizarre pattern. All this gentle play of color and light can be an inspiration for creating a unique New Year's table setting.

Let the dishes be white and the tablecloth too. But napkins can be sewn from a smoky dawn-colored fabric (just buy such fabric in a store, cut it into squares and take it to a clothing repair station so that you can chase the edges off on a sewing machine).

Can buy spray paint with silver gray paint and cover cones, apples, and regular white candles from the store with it.

Buy pouches with beads of the color of dawn- and pour them into the cups with candles. Add more things from clear colorless glass- to convey the airiness and transparency of a frosty morning.

Buy a clear, heavy-duty plastic folder (made of hard plastic). Using stencils from the Internet, cut out New Year's silhouettes (Christmas trees, snowmen, etc.) from this plastic - place them on the table (for stability, by intruding into soft pieces of marshmallow - excellent marshmallow coasters are obtained). Some transparent figures can be coated with nail polish, sprinkled with lilac sequins from the same nail polish.

You can buy hairpins in the store - a hairpin with a lilac rose and also put it in the composition on the table. Find beautiful rhinestones, ribbons and braids in a suitable color in a sewing accessories store. All this can be laid out on a table covered with snowy feathers, or a small "boa" (also sold in a sewing accessories store). As you can see, ideas for decorating the New Year's table can be taken from anywhere. Just set a goal for yourself ... remember in your mind the color palette of your future New Year's table setting and while walking around the shops just grab the accessories of the shade you need with your eyes.

New Year's table decoration

"GAME OF COLOR".

You can take a completely unexpected color to decorate the New Year's table setting. Clear spring shades (more Easter than New Years) can be surprisingly interesting to look at on the table on New Years. We take gouache, and cones - we dilute gouache with pva glue in a glass, dip the cones - hang them dry by strings - and we get a budget option for decoration. In a flower shop, we choose flowers of the same shades and form a bouquet arrangement for the New Year's table. This design looks good in modern, cool high-tech apartments.

You can take only 2 colors of the palette (for example, pistachios and pale blue) and combine them in different versions of decorative compositions to decorate the New Year's table.

Table setting for New Year

"Golden luxury"

A beautiful option for decorating the New Year is a combination of white and gold. Of all the golden shades, choose the one that is light, not heavy, but light in saturation. So it can easily dock with snow-white dishes and other white attributes of New Year's table setting.

Simple solutions are everywhere. Tie the white candles with a gold ribbon. Coat the bumps with nail polish and sprinkle with gold glitter for nails. Buy a golden fluffy garland in the store, and golden Christmas decorations (balls, stars, boots, angels).

Buy a can of gold paint and cover ordinary nuts (walnuts, peanuts, pistachios) with it. We also cover shells, cones, wooden snowflakes from ice cream sticks with gold spray from a can.

Buy gold paper and cut flowers out of it. , will help you implement very simple things. You will be surprised what simple solutions there are to solve this problem, in fact, a 5-year-old child can make a volumetric paper flower.

From a pizza box, you can cut out a round piece of cardboard and use decorative material (ribbons, rhinestones, beads, gold paper) to make a clock with New Year's hands setting at five to midnight. Romantic table decoration for the New Year.

I have collected these ideas for decorating a festive table in this article. But that is not all…

The closer to us the most magical and kindest holiday of the year, the more pleasant it will be about preparation. In addition to gifts, home and Christmas tree decorations, and a festive menu, it would be nice to pay attention to table decoration as well.

site publishes ideas for a special New Year's setting, which will set the right atmosphere for the whole New Year's Eve.

Color solutions

New Year is almost the only holiday on which you can really afford to make the whole house rich. Red looks best with gold. Napkins, dishes, candles, a tablecloth - let your imagination run wild and paint everything that comes to mind in the right color combinations.

Candles

In addition to the play of garland lights, candles will perfectly complement the atmosphere. They don't have to be lit all day, they can only be lit during a meal or when it gets dark. But the main thing is not to stop with ordinary candles, experiment with shapes and scents.

Napkins

Napkins on the table are a must-have attribute that can also become an independent decoration. Large options for reds or even themed colors are best suited for this purpose. Also, before the feast, you can put one napkin on each plate, having previously twisted them into some unusual figure or shape.

Tangerines

Mandarins are already a separate symbol of the New Year, the smell and taste of which almost everyone associates with the main winter holiday. They can stand apart from all other fruits if they are stacked in a large heap in a separate dish. Or they can become the main ingredient in a fruit platter of apples, grapes and nuts.

Cones

Small spruce twigs and cones that spread the wonderful fresh scent of the forest can also be an excellent decor element. Place them on a few small saucers or napkins and place them on the table. Or make a larger composition, which will become the main decoration.

Christmas decorations

Tinsel, rain, Christmas balls can not only flaunt on the tree, but also perfectly fit into the festive decoration of the table. They can be put in several glasses or supplemented with fruit compositions, or simply scattered on the table between plates with New Year's dishes.

Sweets

Licorice candies, chocolate, and, of course, mountains of candy. Shiny and colorful candy wrappers will delight the eye, and the sweets themselves can be enjoyed in between main courses.

Present

Guests and relatives will be pleasantly surprised if during one of the breaks between meals, when everyone disperses to walk or watch TV, small personalized gifts appear on the table. They can be candles, key rings, toys - a purely symbolic sign of attention, and joy and surprise will be quite sincere.

What is the main thing in the New Year holidays? Not gifts and not a tree. And not even champagne. The main thing is the mood of miracle and magic. Best of all, it is "caught" in preparations, which in themselves are already part of the holiday and New Year's magic.

We are in site have collected for you simple and cute ideas that will help you create a mood and turn the New Year's Eve into a real holiday for family and guests.

Christmas napkins

Delicate greenery and garlands of light bulbs

A gentle and romantic mood will be created by conifers in small pots or gypsophila twigs (everything can be bought inexpensively at a flower shop) and a garland of large bulbs.

Serving in the form of snowmen

With the help of plates, cutlery, a slice of carrots, olives and colored napkins, you can build a cute snowman in front of each guest.

Fir branches

Spruce, fir or juniper branches laid in the center of the table and decorated with candles are stylish and aromatic. By the way, as an alternative to candles, you can interweave the spruce branches with a glowing Christmas tree garland.

Apple candles

Paper snowflakes and candles in the snow

Another great idea is to spread paper snowflakes around the table, complementing them with candles and cones. Please note: candles and cones are in jars of coarse salt, as if in the snow. By the way, you can go even further and make a tablecloth from snowflakes, fastening them together with small pieces of tape. Not very practical, but for one evening, to create a snow-magical mood, that's it.

Personalized glasses with Christmas balls

If guests come to you for dinner, it will be great to make festive personalized glasses for them - like a trifle, but nice. To do this, you need to cut out multi-colored Christmas balls with a slot from cardboard and write the name of the guest on each.

List of New Year's activities

The photo shows an idea for a children's party, but it is quite possible to transfer it to an adult party by drawing a list in front of each of the guests: write a wish on a piece of paper and eat it to the chimes, dance on the table or tell Santa Claus a joke from a stool.

Glasses and balls

Why not put together the symbols of the New Year - candles, balls and glasses, of course - and make bright, sparkling and iridescent candlesticks? In addition, the work here is about 2 minutes. And how comfortable it will be to sit in this circle of warm flicker if you dim the overhead light in the room.

Candles and candlesticks of all shapes and sizes

What better way to create a New Year's mood than making a candlestick for a festive table with your own hands?

  • The “clothes” for the candles in the top left photo can be made from old sweaters (or specially knitted).
  • Floating candles look incredible in a dark room - frozen cranberries and twigs from the flower shop will help you.
  • For the candle at the bottom left, a sheet from a music book was used, but you can take a beautiful magazine page or cardboard with a picture and paste over the jar with it.
  • Red and green are the colors of New Year and Christmas, and cranberries with spruce branches will look very elegant.

Christmas trees

Multicolored Christmas trees are a fun and smart idea for decorating your table. Such a grove can be made from cones of wrapping paper or assembled from truffle candies and toothpicks, to which triangles of cardboard or colored paper with a pattern (you can just green) are attached with tape.

Cookies

To decorate the table, you can put a personalized cookie in the form of a heart, a Christmas tree and a Christmas ball with the initial letter of his name on a plate for each guest.

Cute little things

Sometimes, detail is enough to create a mood. For example, a paper snowflake on the edge of a glass or an ice fortress made of sugar cubes.

Decorations from oranges

Oranges and cloves will fill your home with a fresh and spicy scent, and this orange and brown combination looks very beautiful. You can simply decorate the oranges with clove stars that stick easily into the skin. Or you can make candlesticks, as in the bottom photo. Making them is easy - first you need to cut the orange peel in half and carefully remove both halves with a spoon. For a detailed guide with photos, see this

New Year is the favorite holiday for adults and children. And I want to convey its atmosphere even through small interior details. Decorating the New Year's table is a crucial moment in preparation for the winter celebration. In preparation for the holiday, we have prepared original ideas for you.

Serving features in 2019

The main animal of 2019 will be the yellow pig. Chinese traditions tell to treat the symbol of the new year with respect. It is believed that the right celebration of the holiday significantly increases the success in the next 365 days. Therefore, it is best to decorate the table in white, yellowish and other warm colors. It is important that the tablecloth is bright: red, brown or golden yellow. The same goes for the preferred colors of the napkins.

Another trend of the coming year is table decoration using natural materials and burning elements: garlands and, to a greater extent, decorative candles. But the essence does not change from time to time. How to decorate the table in a budget and aesthetically pleasing way? We've divided the decorating methods into two groups, so it's time to learn new things!

Creation of decor from scrap materials

In order not to waste time shopping and successfully decorate the table in the year of the yellow pig, you can make the decor yourself. To do this, it is enough to use the gizmos or natural resources available in the house. Prepare them in advance or tear them off on the street before starting work: the choice is yours.

To decorate the New Year's table, it is permissible to choose a natural theme. For example, nests made of thin branches will fit well into a natural interior. To make nests, prepare flexible wire, brushwood and dry grass. It is better to take willow twigs: they easily change shape and give in to mechanical stress without breakage. Bend the branches into a ring, fix the junction with wire and bend it so that it is not visible. Weave the blades of grass into the nest. Such an element of decor can be placed on the table, and large Christmas candles or small gifts for home and guests can be placed on top.

For the perfect setting for the New Year, don't forget to take care of the candles. They can be used both in compositions and separately. But be careful and don't forget about safety precautions when decorating the table with burning objects. A lot of non-standard design ideas have long been developed, for you we have prepared five optimal ones.

  • Cover a large white candle with heather sprigs and tie a red satin bow around it;
  • Take neat red and green apples. It is important that they are not damaged. These fruits are needed for decorative purposes, not for consumption. Cut out a stalk and make indentations in them, insert laconic candles on elongated legs into the holes obtained;
  • Dip the scarlet candles into the glass so that they protrude 1.5-3 centimeters. Place the material that you like in the recess. Red and white striped lollipops, small Christmas tree balls, artificial snow flakes, or decorative holly berries will do;
  • Pick up candles in the store, and at home try to sculpt unusual candlesticks for them out of clay or salt dough. The main thing is that this activity is liked by preschool children and children from primary grades, it develops motor skills and imagination. This will give you the opportunity to have a good time with your family;
  • Fill a tiny container with water. Dip bright berries and contrasting green leaves, twigs with needles into it. Place a small floating candle on top.

Talented craftsmen sometimes carve wood decor. To do this, you need to use a powerful jigsaw or chainsaw. Wood cuts resemble hemp, but if you correctly fit them into the concept of a feast, you will get an original decoration at a low cost. Above it is worth installing on a statuette, animals are suitable: bears in Christmas hats, deer or a symbol of the coming year.

Ribbon decoration

The idea is not so difficult; for execution, select satin ribbons of the necessary shades. It is better to use no more than two at one table. Their length should be 200-350 centimeters. Tie the prepared ribbons into a single dense bundle. Decorate the resulting knot with a fluffy bow, place the ribbons on the table so that the bow is in the middle of the table surface, and the free ribbons diverge along the perimeter and go down to the floor. This will help to simply and successfully zone the place of the feast. If the room has ceilings of 2 meters and an overall chandelier, dispose of the ribbons differently. Tie long ribbons to the lamp and spread them around the treat table. This will create the illusion of a canopy.

You don't have to buy a full-fledged evergreen tree to decorate. Place the individual twigs in glass vases in the middle of the dining table. Remember to fill the jar with fresh water. The composition can be supplemented with traditional Christmas candles and pine cones. Spray them with paint to better fit the bumps into the design of the New Year's table.

It is better to put them on top of the plates of those invited to the winter celebration. Do not fill the boxes especially with expensive things: a small symbolic surprise in the spirit of a magnet, a keychain with the symbol of 2019 is enough. If you don't want to spend money on presents, just create decorative boxes. Carefully wrap the boxes with brightly colored wrapping paper and tie them with a ribbon. In this case, you need to put gift boxes in the middle of the set table. Setting up a New Year's feast and decorating the house is a key aspect in preparing for the main holiday. In this case, the magical winter day will be remembered for many months.
