Of course, it is recommended to choose those peony varieties that are more adapted to your climate, to the weather conditions of your region. Foreign representatives that are brought to us from China or Poland rarely take root and give a positive result on our soil. Russian breeders are also not far behind and periodically produce worthy hybrids, such as "Muse", "Vorobevsky", "Hoffman", "Peter the Great". Primavera is an old tree-like variety, which is more than 100 years old, has a delicate color - white petals and a yellow center. Something in appearance resembles another spring flower - narcissus. Primavera means "spring" in Italian. Very fragrant cultivar, the flower itself in diameter can reach 25-30 cm.

Variety "Purple Phoenix, Which Flies to the Sun" - this is such a poetic name for this peony. More often, of course, its shortened version Purple Phoenix is used. The plant has a bright rich bud color, from dark purple to fuchsia. It has a very pleasant aroma, the bush is resistant to cold weather, diseases and pests, like many of its brethren.

The variety "Purple Lotus" comes from China, while the bush is young, its flowers have a dark pink hue, but the older the plant, the darker the buds on it. As an adult 'Purple Lotus' has really dark purple flower petals. Frost-resistant, unpretentious in care.
