  • Rhododendron Smirnov- the bush belongs to evergreen varieties. Distributed in Turkey, or rather in its northeast. The bush is very sprawling, beautiful, flowers are inflorescences. One such inflorescence can have up to 15 buds. The height of the bush is usually about 150 cm. Flowers are painted in a delicate pink shade. There are small yellow specks on the buds;

  • Short-fruited rhododendron... Refers to evergreen shrubs. It grows naturally in the east of our country, as well as in Japan, the Kuril Islands and Korea. This variety is very large-flowered and tall - up to 3 meters in height. Flowers are painted white;

  • Rhododendron golden... An evergreen variety. He is truly not afraid of cold weather. The frost-resistant rhododendron is one of the best. After all, it grows in the most severe regions of Russia - Yakutia, Siberia. Shrubs of small compact size, about a meter high. It grows no higher than 1 meter. The flowers are white. Five-centimeter flowers are neatly collected in inflorescences in the form of umbrellas;

  • Rhododendron ketevbinsky... A very beautiful shrub, as its flowers are purple and pink. Plant height up to one and a half meters. The inflorescences are very large. Refers to evergreens;

  • Rhododendron largest- downright king among rhododendrons. It fully lives up to its name. Since the shrubbery can spread up to 6 meters. Looks very impressive on the site. Refers to evergreen varieties.

Deciduous rhododendron: frost-resistant varieties

  • Rhododendron canadian... By the name of the variety, you can understand that it grows in the northern regions of America. The bush is strongly branched, its dimensions are compact, up to 1 meter in height and 1 meter in width. The inflorescences consist of 3-7 flowers.

  • Kamchatka rhododendron... Small attractive shrub. Its height does not even reach half a meter. Likes to grow along the sea coast, in the mountains. It begins to bloom in May. The flowers are scarlet red.

  • Rhododendron yellow... A huge bush inhabitant of the Caucasus. The shrub branches, spreading 6 meters to the sides and 4 meters upward. The inflorescences are umbrellas with yellow flowers.

  • Japanese rhododendron... Shrub of medium height. Reaches a height of two meters. It features very large flowers, which can be 8 cm in diameter. The name reflects its origin.

  • Rhododendron Schlippenbach... It grows to a compact size of 1 meter. It grows in the eastern regions of our country, Japan. It can also be located in southern climates. The flowers of the variety are very large, reaching 8 cm in diameter. Their color is pink and delicate.

Blooming rhododendrons are the highlight of the garden. Even the most indifferent to gardening matters cannot pass by them. They are often used to create a landscape design project. In one area, several different bushes can be scattered, blooming in different colors. Rhododendrons can also be used as hedges.
