A beaded brooch clover with a ladybug. How to weave a ladybug from beads without much difficulty

I invite everyone to try to make a bug - a ladybug.

Difficulty: above average
Working time: 6 hours

The work of making a bug is not very difficult, but painstaking and takes several hours. I usually do these bugs in several runs, so if you decide to use a master class, plan yourself two or three days in advance, two to three hours every day. It is desirable to create with love, and we don't need tired eyes, a stiff neck and pain in the wrists. In addition, sometimes in the course of work, new ideas are born on the color scheme or the choice of certain beads. You can take this master class as a basis and use your own imagination to invent something new.

First, we will prepare the necessary materials and tools. This time I decided to make a gentle romantic girl bug.

What we need:

1. The basis for embroidery. I took hard felt as a base.
2. Wire 0.5 mm. You can use a slightly thinner or slightly thicker wire. The main thing is that it is not too soft and keeps its shape.
3. A piece of cardboard.
4. Any fatin.
5. Lace is narrow.
6. Rails 3 and 4 mm.
7. Beads of various shapes and sizes at your discretion. I took Swarovski bicones 2.5, 3 and 4 mm, pearl-like beads 4 mm and a faceted Czech bead 4 mm for the spout.
8. Beads at your discretion. In our case, these are Toho sizes 11, 15 and 8, Miyuki Delica size 11 and Matsuno deckhouse size 11.
9. Pins-studs for legs and antennae.
10. Base for a brooch 2 cm.
11. Tools: needle; any beaded thread; scissors; round-nose pliers, pliers and nippers for shaping the feet.

So let's get started:

1. On a piece of felt, draw the contours of the future bug's little body. The size of the bug is up to your taste. In our case, the body is 5 cm long (photo No. 2). I cut out the drawn figure in order to use it as a template and immediately circled it on the second piece of felt on which I plan to embroider. Then I circled it on a piece of cardboard and cut out a slightly smaller figure (about 2 mm). And finally, I circled it on the skin and cut out about 1 mm a little more than the circled area (photo # 0).

2. Since we want to get a voluminous body and a head, we will prepare ovals from felt of different sizes for their subsequent sewing with beads.

We make the wings from wire, bending it so that it takes the shape we want (photo No. 3). The length of one side is about 5 cm.

Preparing beads and beads (photo No. 4). As I said, in the process of work, the inclusion of imagination and insights, additional materials can be used.

3. We trim the base for the wings, wire, tulle. I fold a piece of tulle in half, put the wings inside, and sew the tulle to them. At the same time, the thread wraps around the wire - the needle moves from bottom to top from the inside to the outside (photo No. 5).

At the end, carefully cut along the contour close to the wings, so as not to touch the thread and so that the tulle does not begin to crumble (photo No. 6).

You can use another method to trim the wings with tulle.

4. Now draw out the outline of the wings. To do this, I string 6 beads of size 15 on a needle and sew the contour of the wings in the same way as I sewed tulle (photo No. 7).

And after that I decorate the wing with beads and beads. How to decorate, you can decide for yourself. What happened to me - look at the photo below (photo № 8 - 10).

5. Now we take our prepared base and sew lace along the contour of the calf (photo No. 12).

6. After that we sew on pieces of felt to add volume (I decided to sew 4 ovals).

How do we arrange the little body? We take beads for pearls, beads of 8 sizes, beads and a cut of 11 sizes.

7. We do as follows (again, you can think of your own way): we sew ovals in a circle with beads and large beads, over the lace (photo No. 15 and 16).

Then we sew the little body in rows with beads and cut, while we look along the way, how many beads need to be collected so that the thread with the selected beads will beautifully lay on top of the ovals (No. 17). Sew rows of small beads No. 15 between pink beads (photo No. 18). Since the rows with chopping and beads may shift a little, I grab them with a thread.

8. Now we sew the wings to the base, placing them over our resulting little body.

9. Then we will shape the head. We prepare beads Delica size 11 and Toho size 15.

Sew on pieces of felt in the place of the future head (photo No. 21), and decorate with beads and beads in the same way as the body.

In photo No. 22 - 23 you can see that a white faceted bead in the center will be our spout, and in photo No. 24 you can see how the eyes are made (we collect sequins of size 4 mm, 3 mm, beads No. 15 and return through sequins 3 and 4 mm) ...

10. The next step is to make legs and antennae (photo № 25 - 27). On the pins we string beads of size 15 and small 2.5 mm bicones. In total, we need 3 pairs of legs and 1 pair of antennae, each of pairs of different lengths. I strung in this way (photo no. 25):

3 beads, bicone, beads (1st pair, these are antennae);

9 beads, bicone, beads (2nd pair);

11 beads, bicone, beads (3rd pair);

13 beads, bicone, beads (4th pair).

After stringing the beads with the help of round-nose pliers and pliers, we make rings, cutting off the excess part of the pin with wire cutters (photo No. 26), and sew on the legs and antennae in those places where we think they should be (I previously looked at a couple of photos of ladybugs on the Internet) , - photo No. 27.

Photo # 28. We are preparing our piece of leather by making holes in it and threading a fastener for a brooch. I decided that my ladybug would be attached to the clothes with the head down (this is how I wore it on the fur collar of a winter down jacket), and therefore the fastener is in the area of the calf. It is important to consider how you intend to wear it, and fasten the clasp either above, or below, or in the center of the leather base.

11. We are nearing completion. Our bug girl will be ready soon!

Photo No. 29. Glue the prepared piece of cardboard to the felt, over the sewn-on paws (in order to hide the possible relief due to the pins under the skin).

We glue the leather on top, see what kind of crumb we will have (Photo No. 30 and 31), and sew the edge, connecting felt and leather in your favorite way (I used the "American" method). Pins-pins will be located between closely spaced beads (photo no. 32).

After that, teeth can be made from three small beads No. 15, passing through the beads of the finished sewing row (photo No. 32).

We bend the legs so that they look like the real legs of a bug.

In order to prevent the wings from protruding, they can be grabbed in several places along the edge to the calf.

Everything. Our romantic girl bug is ready!

How to wear? The bug is not very heavy, but still wearing it on a thin blouse or a dress is unlikely to work - it will pull off the fabric. But on jackets, jackets, coats, on fur collars - it will look great. Can also be attached to a purse or backpack.

The gold version turned out to be the most popular, I have already made a couple of such bugs. Here is a photo:

Many thanks to everyone for your attention and pleasant creativity!

Sincerely,
Inessa Dragan.

Lacking luck in your life? Do not despair and do not run to the store of oriental goods for the talisman! Have you heard the saying “We forge our happiness with our own hands”? Do not be alarmed, we will not have to forge anything, but just filter from wool. For many peoples and beliefs, the ladybug is considered a symbol of happiness and good luck. The number of points on her back matters. I propose to make a ladybug with seven dots, since this number means what we need - good luck.

Materials and tools:

wool (red and black), needles for felting, sponge or felting mat, synthetic fluff, sewing thread, needle, scissors, pin, super glue, black half-beads (7 pieces).

Operating procedure:

We pile the workpiece from the synthetic fluff. We give the shapeless lump the outlines of a ladybug. The back and head should be voluminous, have a rounded shape, and the belly and lower part of the head should be flat (see photo).

When our blank is ready, take the red wool and cover the back of the ladybug in several layers.

From the black wool we felle the antennae, which we will press with the free end of the wool to the head. We also trim the head and belly with black wool.

We will make the dots on the back of the insect from black half-beads. They look more spectacular than just felted wool. To fix the half-beads, make a recess in the place where the ladybug point will be, drop super glue into the middle and attach the half-bead there.

Having finished securing the half-beads, we will re-attach the pin to the future brooch. Sew a pin in the middle of the belly with black threads. We weld black wool on top of the threads so that the fastening is not visible. Cut off loose hairs with scissors.

You can also attach eyes to the white wool head or sew on beads. I decided to leave it like that, for some reason I liked it more without a peephole. Do it at your discretion, this is a matter of taste and desire. The main thing in this brooch is the number of dots on the back.

Wear it with pleasure and good luck will be with you!

This article will help you find the answer to the question of how to weave a ladybug from beads. Beading is an ancient art, the basics of which every self-respecting housewife was obliged to know. After all, beads are not just a material, but an opportunity to transform things, create new images and create real miracles. You can make amazing crafts from it - accessories, earrings, bracelets, figurines, interior items, plants and insects. By the way, insects are not only small copies, but also ideal options for beautiful brooches. Consider a few master classes for beginners on making such a cute ladybug.

Beauty from the simple

Such an insect can also be used as a keychain for keys or something else.

Let's take:

  • 5 g red beads;
  • 1 g black;
  • a carabiner for a keychain;
  • wire for beads 0.3 mm.

All the materials you need are easy to find in any specialty store.

  1. Let's start with the torso. The diagram will help to make it easier. We alternate colors.

  1. We carry out the right wing according to the picture.
  2. Then the left wing.
  3. Let's fix them on the body of our insect.
  4. We will attach the carabiner for the keychain.

You can also use this scheme. The legs are detailed here, which will help for beginners. For weaving, it is best to use dense copper wire, which will help keep the shape of the product.

Let's take a closer look at the product with antennae:

The insect will be large and voluminous. Try to pull the wire tightly, straightening with your fingers and gently straightening all the beads. Thus, we create a convex back, because it will be rather difficult to do this at the last stage of the work.

Let's start weaving

  1. Weave from bottom to top. Cut the wire, approximately 40-45 cm long. We begin to string on it. First, one bead, fold the wire in half, weave another 9 beads. Try to do this towards each other, observe the diagram all the time so that it turns out smoothly.
  2. We string 1 bead at each end. Next, add 3 more on one side, weave towards each other, not through and through. We grab all segments of 2 beads.
  3. We take up the antennae. First, we string one bead, fold it in half. Do not forget to leave 1 cm for the antennae, twist it into a spiral. We will repeat the same actions with the second antenna. We will pass all the ends through the extreme beads, sip, straighten. Do not forget to lead them towards each other, weaving through the bottom row.

  1. Then we weave in the same way until the end of the product. Remember to alternate colors to create a beautiful back.
  2. Now you need to add 1 bead each. Weave until there are 6 beads on all sides. We repeat the next rows over the beads without adding, then we begin to decrease them. A total of 5 pieces should remain on the wire.
  3. We will fix it, pass it through the upper rows, twist it, cut off the excess. And in the upper rows we will hide the ends.

We will have such a ladybird:

Don't forget to make the legs so that it can stand like a real insect.

Sunny girlfriends

A few more options for creating flying "beauties". For example, a bulky ladybug.

You always need a line or wire to work. And also large beads of such colors as red, black and white for eyes. By the way, you can make several such girlfriends, collect a whole family. On the back, you can use yellow or orange beads - whatever the will of your imagination.

We string on copper wire, diameter 0.3 mm. We start working from the head.

Weaving is considered easy - parallel. Follow them according to the scheme of the body, antennae and legs. Adjust the length of the wire yourself, usually 20 or 30 cm.

  1. Fold a piece of wire in half. We put on one black, twist the wire. Do not forget that the diameter of the antenna is 7 mm. Next, take 2 black beads, make another tendril.
  2. We start the second row with the eyes. At the end we string 4 beads, as well as white ones for the peephole. Pull the other end through the row in the opposite direction. Do the following rows in the same way. Alternate the colors of the beads to create dots on the back.
  3. Legs are 4,6 and 8 rows. At the end, put on 3 beads, go through 2 beads. One bead will be at the end of the paw, we will repeat the same at the other end.
  4. We collect the little body. To do this, we go through the ends to the head on the sides, pull the ends, grab the ends sticking out of the head and antennae, finish twisting the ends, hide them in the body.

You can put a ball of plasticine or polymer clay under the bottom of the back to make a convex product.

This work is not easy and doable, but after the beauty has been done, you will undoubtedly want to embroider something else like that. Women's jewelry made of beads looks beautiful and exquisite. The popularity of such products is growing every year. Needlewomen weave and embroider with beads earrings, bracelets, unique necklaces and brooches. Skillful craftswomen come up with a variety of unique beaded masterpieces and amaze art connoisseurs with new interesting ideas. Any girl can embroider a brooch

This article will discuss how to embroider a fabulous beaded brooch in the shape of a ladybug.

Necessary accessories and materials for embroidery brooches

For embroidery from ladybug beads, we need the following material:

  • Black and red beads No. 10
  • Two silver beads - size 10
  • Seven crystal beads, two millimeters in size
  • Two crystals in the form of petals
  • One crystal in the form of a droplet
  • A flap of red thin and black dense felt
  • Jewelry glue
  • Ear sticks for spreading glue
  • Beaded needle
  • Scissors
  • Fishing line
  • Clasp pin
  • Three pieces of leather substitute
  • Pliers

Having prepared all the necessary material, you can start creating a beautiful brooch. To do this, we need to stock up on patience, perseverance and developed imagination. This is painstaking work, but at the end of the creative process, the craftswoman will see a beautiful product created with her own hands.

Master class for making jewelry "Ladybug"

I suggest that you familiarize yourself with a fascinating detailed master class on embroidery and weaving from beads of an extraordinary brooch. Let's start with the wings. We prepare sketches of the wings and body of the ladybug, drawn on cardboard. Cut out and apply the prepared sketch of the wings to the red thin felt, outline with a pencil.

Wings

According to the prepared drawing, we cut out the wings from red felt. Using jewelry glue, glue the crystals in the form of petals on the workpiece, symmetrically placing them.

We embroider around the glued crystals in red. Having fastened the thread with several stitches, we string two pieces, we move a distance equal to 2 beads and insert a needle there. Then we withdraw the needle in front of the final one and enter it.

Again we string two pieces, skip space for 2 elements and insert the needle. Then we exit before the last fragment and enter back.

In this way, we continue to embroider around the entire crystal. After finishing the embroidery, we bring the needle to the wrong side, make a stitch, wrap the fishing line around the needle several times and tighten it carefully.

Next, we embroider specks on the wings with crystal black beads, two millimeters in size. Sew the beads in the shape of a triangle with the calculation of their sheathing.

After sewing on the crystal beads, we embroider around them with red beads in the same manner as before that the crystals were sheathed.

We embroider the second wing identically. Sew a black crystal bead in the center of the two wings and also embroider around it with red beads, as in the bottom photo.

After finishing the embroidery process, glue the wings to a piece of leather substitute.

After the glue dries, we take scissors and carefully cut out the part.

Such a blank should be formed.

Then we cut off one and a half meters of fishing line and pass the needle through the entire product, leaving a slight tail of about 7 cm.

Then again we pass by two layers, wrap the fishing line around the needle several times and tighten the knot.

We string 1 piece, and in the same place we lead the needle past two layers.

We pass the needle through the bead from the bottom to the top and tighten it carefully.

Then we recruit one bead again, move to the side by 2 mm, pierce all the layers with a tip.

We draw the needle by stringing the beads from bottom to top.

Thus, we make out the rims of the wings until the end.

It turns out this is the top detail of the brooch.

Further to the lower part of the body of the insect, we sew a large crystal with holes for sewing.

The process of sewing on a crystal is simple - you can easily cope with such work.

Having finished fixing the crystal, we embroider in a circle from black beads using the technique already familiar to us.

Insect torso

We embroider the body with beautiful arched lines. We embroider 6 rows in total.

In a similar manner, we embroider the insect's head with black glass and sew two silver-colored things - these are the eyes of the sun.

We glue it to the body of the sun.

Gently press the glued elements with your fingers.

Cut out with scissors along the contour.

Having cut out the detail, we shape the edges of the body in the same way as the edges of the wings.

You should get such a neat seamy side of the work.

Antennae for a brooch

Next, we will create an insect antennae with you. For these purposes, we take a fishing line, two millimeters in size, fix it on the felt and enter the side bead. We string three beads, move the last one, and insert the needle into the remaining two and remove it from the side bead.

In the same way, we form the second antenna of the insect.

DIY pin attachment

Cut out a small circle from artificial leather.

Cut two holes for the pin.

We pass the pin through the holes.

Using pliers, carefully press the pin clamps.

Glue the resulting blank to the brooch.

We have embroidered a unique piece of jewelry in the shape of a ladybug.

Such an exclusive brooch with beads will look great on any women's clothing: on a dress, on a coat, and on a scarf. Having decorated your thing with such a wonderful product, you will look unbeatable and will attract the admiring glances of the people around you. Beaded jewelry is perfect as a gift for a teacher, friend, mother or grandmother. Every woman will be delighted with such a delightful handicraft present, in which one can feel the warmth and positive thoughts of the needlewoman. Making such a gift, the craftswoman gives a piece of her soul to a loved one.
