Like a DIY wedding bouquet. DIY bride's bouquet of fresh flowers

A bride's bouquet of fresh flowers symbolizes eternal love and a happy married life, so you need to approach its design carefully. In this master class with step-by-step photographs you will learn how to make a bridal bouquet with your own hands.

A wedding is a special event, and it doesn’t matter whether you are getting married for the first time or the “eleventh”. And we were no exception: after nine years of marriage, three “marriages” between us, having tested our feelings over time, we finally decided to go to the registry office.

The painting was planned to be ordinary, without witnesses and ceremonial decoration, a holiday for loved ones - at the dacha. As a memorable “bonus” we decided to give ourselves a photo session. Well, what’s a wedding photo shoot without at least a minimum of attributes - wedding rings and a bride’s bouquet?

To make a bridal bouquet from fresh flowers you will need:

  • 2 branches of white eustoma;
  • 3-4 branches of white spray rose;
  • 2 branches of pale pink alstroemeria;
  • one branch each of gypsoflla and Italian ruscus;
  • small porta bouquet holder (floristic microphone);
  • double sided tape;
  • scissors;
  • floral wire;
  • paper napkins or towel;
  • suspension;
  • pink satin ribbon 2.5 cm wide (with a margin of 2.5-3 meters);
  • lace 3.5-4 cm wide;
  • threads of a suitable color, needle;
  • tailor's pins.

Master class from fresh flowers “Do-it-yourself bridal bouquet”

1) Remove the lid and remove the floral sponge from the bouquet maker, immerse it in a container of cold water.

2) Fill the handle of the bouquet maker with pieces of napkins or paper towels (in case water leaks from the sponge).

3) Remove the leaves from the roses, cut off the stems and cut them into pieces 3-4 cm longer than the microphone handle.

4) Wrap the handle with double-sided tape.

5) Secure the stems of roses to tape - in a circle.

6) For reliability, wrap the decorated handle with floral wire. Twist and trim the ends.

7) Wrap the top of the portaquet holder with double-sided tape.

8) Glue the rose leaves onto the tape (I did it in one layer - there were too few leaves on the flowers, try to get two, one a little higher, the other a little lower).

9) Place the floral sponge in place, snap the lid on and secure it in a couple of places with pieces of wire.

10) Decorate the handle with ribbon - very tightly, in two layers. Secure the lower end of the ribbon with two tailor's pins, and the upper end with a couple of stitches using pink thread.

11) Cut a piece of lace, wrap it around the handle and sew the edges with a blind stitch. Secure the pendant with thread and needle.

12) Trim the stems of all flowers at a distance of 5-6 cm from the buds. For ease of use, place the porta bouquet maker in a small glass jar. Form the base of the bouquet from the roses, starting at the top and moving down. Press the flowers carefully, holding them under the bud so as not to damage them.

13) Add eustoma in between roses.

14) Place pink alstroemeria in a circle at the top of the bouquet. Be especially careful with it - the stems of this flower are quite fragile.

No matter how it is. The girl should also think about the veil, the jewelry for the dress, the shoes, the garter, the hairstyle, the manicure and... the gorgeous wedding bouquet. DIY wedding bouquet “French kiss” with fresh flowers

The bouquet includes flowers of tulips, roses and peonies. These are very beautiful flowers and exude a subtle, pleasant and distinct aroma.

Tools and available materials: bright yellow spray roses, purple tulips, yellow peony roses, fuchsia mattiolas, Asian ranunculus, green tape (decorative paper tape with an adhesive side), burlap, lace tape, scissors, glue .

The central part of the wedding bouquet is assembled with your own hands. It consists of tulips, mattiola, and peony roses. The stems of these flowers are wrapped with decorative tape.

The stems of all flowers are cut to the same length.

Now you can decorate the bride’s bouquet with your own decorative elements. For this purpose, prepared burlap and lace are taken. They wrap around the stems, as in the picture. You can secure the textiles with glue. It is not recommended to use pins, which can come undone at the most inopportune moment, and tape, which will create unnecessary glare on wedding photographs in portrait photography. In addition, the tape somewhat spoils the impression of an expensive bouquet.

DIY wedding bouquet “Date” on a porta bouquet

A wedding arrangement of flowers made by florists looks attractive and complements the festive look. But a bouquet made independently emphasizes individuality and reflects the character of the bride. Study color combinations and the laws of floristry and create a bouquet for the bride with your own hands - a composition master class will help you understand the intricacies of the process and master the secrets of flower masters.

What types of flowers to include in a bouquet

Before making a bridal bouquet, choose flower varieties depending on the format of the celebration. Roses or asters are definitely not suitable for a Hawaiian-style wedding, and a bouquet of daisies will not be suitable for a wedding in a strict format.

For a rural wedding, collect a selection of wildflowers - buttercups, cornflowers, aconite and delphiniums. For a ceremony inviting high-ranking guests, order a luxurious set of rare plant varieties.

The predominant shades are usually chosen based on their meanings. It is known that black is the color of mourning, white is the color of innocence, red is the color of love and passion, yellow is the color of wealth. Green symbolizes vitality, blue symbolizes family values, and blue symbolizes devotion.

If you don’t believe in omens, choose the colors of your bouquet according to the season to save money. Find out what plants bloom in your region at the time of year when the wedding will take place and create a composition from them - then you will not have to overpay for delivery from Holland.

How to combine shades of flowers and greenery correctly

One of the main points in the question of how to make a bouquet for the bride with your own hands is color combinations. Girls usually choose neutral shades - beige, white or milky, not knowing that with the right approach you can combine several colors in one composition.

If you want to put together a bridal bouquet of bright flowers, use the color wheel. On it, select shades located nearby - for example, from pale pink to burgundy. At the wedding, they will be in harmony with each other, as well as with the dress and accessories. The second option is to give preference to contrasting colors located in the circle on opposite sides to make the bouquet bright and attract the attention of guests.

Having decided on the varieties and color schemes, go to a floristry salon and meticulously select the plants from which you plan to make a bridal bouquet with your own hands. There is an opinion that it is better to buy an unripe bud and wait for it to bloom. But this is risky, since unscrupulous sellers take advantage of the gullibility of customers and “refresh” flowers by tearing off the side petals. The middle looks like a bud, but it is no longer able to bloom.

When purchasing, examine the condition of the petals - their edges should be smooth, without breaks. Avoid flowers with limp petals and thin stems.

The hardiest plant varieties are callas, orchids, roses, lilies and freesias. To preserve flowers throughout the day, use a porta bouquet holder. This is a plastic tube with a floral sponge inside to hold water.

How to make a wedding flower arrangement

Methods for assembling a flower arrangement vary depending on whether you plan to create it on stems or in a porta bouquet. Learn a step-by-step guide on how to make your own bridal bouquet using one of two methods.

Natural bouquet on stems

The composition on the stems looks natural and attracts attention with its unusualness, and its only drawback is its fragility. It’s easy to create - buy flowers and decorative elements and start creating the image.

  • purple tulips;
  • bush roses of a bright yellow hue;
  • yellow peony roses;
  • fuchsia matthiola flowers;
  • Asian buttercup;
  • adhesive tape to secure the stems;
  • burlap;
  • scissors;
  • white lace ribbon.

To create a composition, proceed sequentially:

  • Assemble a central part of three plants: tulip, matthiola and peony rose. Wrap the stems with duct tape.

Formation of the central part

  • Add flowers to the base according to color and size - dark to light, and large to small.
  • As you attach each stem, make one turn of the tape around it.

  • When you have formed a bouquet of sufficient splendor, wrap the stems with adhesive tape in several layers and trim the ends with scissors.

  • Decorate the leg with burlap and lace ribbon, securing them with a pin, glue gun or double-sided tape.

Making a bridal bouquet on stems yourself is not difficult - all you need is patience and a couple of hours of free time. Flowers and fabrics can be changed depending on the style of the wedding.

Floral masterpiece in a porta bouquet

The second way to make a bridal bouquet with your own hands is to use a porta bouquet maker. It corresponds to the European style and is easy to compose. To begin, prepare:

  • porta bouquet;
  • absorbent sponge;
  • satin ribbon;
  • twisted cord;
  • Double-sided tape;
  • glue gun;
  • thin wire;
  • gardening scissors;
  • flowers and greenery.

To assemble a bridal bouquet with your own hands, follow these steps:

  • Soak a floral sponge with water and place it in the bouquet holder.

  • Fill the stem of the porta bouquet with absorbent paper towels to prevent water from leaking out of the sponge.
  • Decorate the stem of the bouquet with aspidistra leaves and a satin ribbon, securing the structure with a glue gun.

  • Start making a flower arrangement - cut the stems, leaving 5-6 cm, and place the flowers inside the sponge, starting from the edge and moving towards the center. Fix small flowers last.

  • Make sure that the buds fit tightly to each other - strengthen the weak points with wire.
  • Do not use a large amount of greenery - it should not interrupt the shades of the petals.

Having completed the work, place the finished bouquet on a stand and take it to a cool room.

Using any of the methods, follow these simple tips to create your own bridal bouquet that will delight the ceremony and wedding photographs:

  • do not make the composition heavier;
  • use a minimum of sparkles and decorations;
  • choose flowers without a strong scent;
  • combine plants according to color, not shape;
  • don’t get hung up on the standard semicircular shape of the bouquet;
  • to give the leaves shine, use floral varnish;
  • Be sure to practice composing the composition in advance - do not put off an important matter until the night before the wedding.

In pursuit of durability, needlewomen make wedding bouquets from felt, brooches, satin ribbons and other available materials. Homemade artificial compositions look original and stand out among others, but traditional fresh flowers look more delicate and soulful.

Flowers for the bride are one of the symbols of the wedding. They also represent purity and embody the beauty and inner peace of a young girl. When choosing a bouquet, you need to take into account many things: the color and style of the dress, the age of the bride, her tastes and preferences. A bridal bouquet is a must. If necessary, you can refuse heels or a tiara, but never a beautiful bouquet.

Nowadays, the range of jewelry, clothing and accessories is huge. There are also schools and courses in floristry that will help you understand the flower world and teach you how to correctly compose compositions. But you can simply order a bouquet for the bride. Each store has special catalogs containing numerous photographs and designs of already created happy bouquets. You can also order a bouquet according to an individual sketch. Each florist will help you create it if necessary.

But just ordering, that is, buying a lucky bouquet, is easy. It is much more interesting to make a wedding bouquet with your own hands. The bride, without a doubt, will highly appreciate the impulse of her beloved. To help grooms, there are various master classes on creating living splendor. Let's look at the simplest option.

How to make a bouquet for the bride

The round shape of the bouquet is considered classic. For successful work, you should purchase a porta bouquet maker, scissors or garden pruning shears, an oasis, a glue gun, industrial wire, twisted cord, decorative pins, and double tape. The bouquet holder is the base on which all other parts will be fixed. The main elements of the bouquet are: frame, handle, oasis. The bouquet holder not only allows you to securely fasten all the plants, it also prolongs their short life. Among the flowers, preference should be given to peonies, roses, ornitholagum arabicum, green shepherd's purse, Italian ruscus and aspidistra. But any other flowers will look equally good in a properly composed composition.

Portable bouquet and much more

Initially, you should design the handle of the portaquet holder. A flight of fancy in combination with a variety of decorative materials gives rise to an incredible number of design options. In this case, from the available colors for decorating the handle, aspidistra leaves and a screw cord are suitable. Before starting work, remove the grille from the portaquet holder and fill the handle with napkins or other material with excellent absorbent properties. This will prevent excessive moisture release at the moment when the bouquet is inserted into the oasis. This way the handle won't get wet. Then put the oasis in a deep container of water and leave it there for a while. The “readiness” of the oasis can be determined by its descent to the bottom of the container, as well as by a change in color.

The ready-to-use oasis should be placed in a portaquet holder and secured with a lattice. Technical wire will help securely fix the element. Carefully remove any protruding pieces of wire so that the bride does not get hurt during the wedding.

Let's start the registration

A porta bouquet prepared in this way can be arranged with flowers. First, cut the aspidistra leaf into several pieces and place it on the base of the bouquet. Secure with double tape. The leaves should be placed one to one, not overlapping. Using a gun, decorate the handle of the bouquet holder.

What's with the cuff?

In our case, the role of the cuff will be played by ruscus, shepherd's purse or butcher's broom. You can choose any type of plants, but you should take into account that the bouquet will look much richer and more elegant when the cuff consists of leaves of different textures.

And finally, flowers

Place the porta bouquet in a vase: this will make it easier to fill it with flowers. Flower stems should be no more than five to six centimeters. Arrange flowers in orderly rows in a circle. After all the flowers have found their place, it's time for the greenery. Do not overload the bouquet with leaves and twigs - the flowers will simply get lost in the dense greenery. Beads, crystals, pearls and small and shiny decorative elements will come in handy. Stores sell special glitter and sprinkles, as well as a variety of sprays that will help give your bouquet originality, lightness and uniqueness.

Special varnishes used by all florists will make the leaves of the bouquet shiny. But don't get too carried away. A huge layer of varnish will give the bouquet an unnatural, artificial look.

So we created a bouquet for the bride. Everything turned out to be not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. A little imagination and courage, creativity and the desire to make a magnificent gift for the bride will undoubtedly help create a real masterpiece. A little effort and patience and everything will work out!
